We booked this place based on reviews, but left feeling disappointed in the staff and room. Let's start with positives: great locations, nice lobby, nice bar/sitting, comfortable bed, big balcony, AC work well. Unfortunately it stops there. We had a room where the shower door was coming unscrewed from the wall, therefor hanging down and not sealing up when we...

The hotels is in one of most prestigious locations in Rome (Via Venetian) with a 15 - 20 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and other landmark sites in Room. The hotel is part of the millennium hotels group and with very good level of service. I would recommend for bussiness travellers.

Very good location. When we arrived we were upgraded. I explained how our daughter had booked this for our 25th anniversary and it was not long before complimentary wine arrived. We arrived early and were able to book in with no waiting. Easy to walk to so many different places. Not far from Trevi fountain and Spanish steps and Pantheon....

As a family we were all very pleased with our hotel choice as it was in a great location, within walking distance of the hop on hop of buses, metro train stops and walking distance of many historic sites. The hotel reception staff were at all times really helpful, speaking excellent English, which was a bonus as none of us...

This is a nice hotel. Clean. Quiet. Spacious. CO Bigelow amenities and friendly stall (although they were a little bit not so well updated with all touristic options in town...but it is Italy after-all). Breakfast is delicious. Metro station is in the corner. Train station just 5 minutes walk and almost "inside" the Villa Borguese, a beautiful Public Park in...

Grand Hotel Palace is a beautiful hotel in a central location, very close to major attractions, but it is the staff I particularly want to compliment. In what could only be described as difficult circumstances Guest Assistants Giada and Paolo were very compassionate and helpful. They made every effort to assist me and I will always be grateful to them...

My husband and I stayed 1 night at Grand Hotel Palace. Staff was very friendly, hotel is located within easy walking distance to all touristic sites. Room was very large, with very nice bathroom. Wi-fi wasn't working, reason we were given is that hotel was full.

The hotel check in process can be slow especially if your rooms are not ready on time. Breakfast comes at an additional charge but its decent. Rooms feel a bit small but have nice views and they are quite clean, Location is fantastic as you are in the middle of most major attractions.

Spent 5 days at the hotel. First impressions, the hotel entrance was uninviting and soulless. The bar was closed on 2 evenings due to functions, unfortunately they only had one bar. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
