Having spent about 20hrs reading reviews we finally went for the Amalfi! So glad we did. Approx 100Eur cheaper than elsewhere was a good start. Excellent position close to Termini. Warmest and most informative welcome we have ever received. Walking distant to everywhere! In fact this morning we went to the Pantheon and the Trevi in 2hrs at a very...

Excellent little hotel, nicely decorated, with hidden lift to take cases upstairs. Room was very small for two adults, but clean and had everything necessary. Bathroom tiny - no room for a little wet umbrella! - but plenty of hot water and hotel generous with towels. Excellent breakfast every morning. Stayed five nights and always a friendly welcome on returning...

Great hotel, really large rooms and fantastic service from everyone. Breakfast is typically Italian style. Location was brilliant especially as we were arriving on the airport bus to the train station (5 euro, best way to get in from the airport takes 45 minutes). Nice and cold with shutters and aircon in mid-August heat. Can’t wait to stay again.

Spent 4 nights here and although the room was small it was perfectly adequate and was clean and comfortable. We were right at the front which meant it was noisy with the windows open but the double glazing worked well so it wasn't a problem and we had a nice view if we leaned out of the window! Breakfast was...

When we arrived we got a very small room for two. To be expeted in the center of Rome. On the last night we got a 3 person room with a balcony and it was excellent. Large bath towels. Breakfast was very good and plenty of it, delicious coffee, cappucino, expresso etc. The lady in the breakfast room was very...

My wife and I booked a spontaneous two day break in Rome and what a wonderful time we had. Great hotel that ticks all the boxes which offers everything you'll need. No frills, family run establishment offering a clean, comfortable sojourn. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. For some reason Tripadvisor jumps from either "average"...

This hotel was simply wonderful. My mother and I traveled through Europe in July of this year and were fortunate enough to stay at this hotel. It is very close to the main train station in Rome, as well as the Colosseum. The staff was great and very friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and the wifi worked well....

We stayed at the Amalfi for three nights the end of September, 2012. My husband, myself, our three grown sons, our new daughter-in-law and a girlfriend finished up a Mediterranian cruise with four days in Rome. After months of research, we chose Amalfi for its location and the excellent staff reviews. We were not disappointed! The staff could not have...

Six of us had a wonderful 3 night stay at this charming hotel. We were able to check in early, staff was very friendly and accomodating. Got an upgraded room at no charge and was exceptionally clean. Typical European breakfast included every morning. Great location, easily walked to major attractions like the Colosseum. Staff even made us a breakfast to...
