I went to Aldrovandi to try it out, I had huge expectations and in part I was slightly disappointed. Location is excellent, I mean Villa Borghese on its own deserves a visit; concierge reception was friendly and professional. It had a somewhat of Beverly Hills welcome. Front desk was very attentive, unfortunately I was met by a young lady that...

The room was great. There was fresh fruit everyday and a treat from the restaurant every evening. The concierge delivered villa bourghese tickets directly to us and the night desk man opened the spa for me every morning.

I travelled to Roma for Easter and stayed in this hotel with my family. I highly recommend this hotel to all types of travelers. The hotel is simply amazing! 15 to 20 min max walking to full city center and only 5 min by taxi from big attractions. The hotel is located in the biggest parc of Roma next to...

Absolutely everything about this remarkable hotel was first class. From the greetings on arrival at the hotel, by concierge and reception staff, to every other employee in every area, the service was second to none. The room (overlooking the pool) was quite beautiful; daily arrangements of fruit provided plus Easter cakes and eggs over the holiday weekend. Breakfast one of...

I stayed at the Aldrovandi for 4 nights with my husband and two sons (9 and 13). It was a treat for my birthday. The staff at the hotel made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. There is nothing that I would change about our visit: the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was...

I stayed at the Aldrovandi for 4 nights in April with my 2 grown-up sons aged 24 & 27. The hotel was booked as part of a BA package and I prebooked a taxi transfer from the airport. Journey time was approx 45 mins and our driver gave us the option of going through the city centre which was a...

The hotel was lovely. Our suite was perfect for us and our son who was traveling with us. We enjoyed the pool and spa amenities, including the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The service was excellent, and everyone made us feel like we were their top priority. It is in a great location. A short cab ride to anywhere in...

Our stay at Aldrovandi was fabulous from the moment we stepped in the hotel and were graciously greeted by the staff to the moment we left to return home. The rooms were clean, lovely, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had wonderful variety. The shuttle service from the hotel into the heart of Rome was convenient and allowed...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
