We just returned from an amazing trip to Rome, Florence and Venice. During our visit to Rome we stayed three nights at the Hotel Victoria. This was our first time in Rome and didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with the accommodation at this hotel. Our room had a balcony with a city view but we didn't...

The hotel is a lovely property near the Via Veneto. The room was spacious but the amenities seemed in need of upkeep. We stayed in 2 rooms over 4 days. In each room everything looked great but on closer examination, you could see where things were not attached correctly, etc. Beds were comfy & breakfast was very serviceable. The only...

We stayed at The Hotel Victoria this past week for 2 nights after a week in Sorrento. At first look we weren't sure if we would enjoy the property. The room was very large but rather dated. It ended up being a very comfortable hotel. The bed was comfortable, the location was ideal and the breakfast was nice. I think...

We stayed here in two standard double rooms for 3 nights of our 11 day Itay vacation. Beautiful hotel! The rooms were a bit more modernized than rooms we stayed in other cities. They were spacious and very clean. We had a small balacony overlooking the Aurelian Wall of Rome. Free Wifi in the room. Our breakfast was included and...

This really is a lovely hotel furnished and decorated in a traditional style. Our room was of good size, quiet, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On reception, staff are reserved but always polite and helpful. We only had breakfast at the hotel where the selection and quality was very good and served in a really nice breakfast room. On the rooftop...

The hotel is a little out the way of the hussle and bussle of the city centre, but a 10mins walk from the Trevi fountain. We really liked the location as it was quiet and peaceful. The room was lovely and very spacious. Clean bedding and fresh towels were provided daily. The only thing to let down this hotel is...

The reviews for this hotel were right on. In Rom again on buisness for 4 days. But when in Rom you have to take the time to enjoy the beauty of this magnificent city. So I did. And was able to walk from the hotel to many of the cities attractions. I love being on the street with the local...

We stayed here for four nights in late August and it was fantastic! Upon arrival, we had several tours that we booked and needed confirmation. The concierge helped us out with that and it was a snap. Then out of the blue, one of our tours was rained out. Once again, their concierge helped us get in contact with the...

We stayed in a large and beautiful room. Loved the comfy beds. The safe was not working for us, so we didn't use it. Anyway, the hotel's restaurants were excellent and beautiful! Loved the roof-top terrace for the dinners...romantic and scenic. The meals were an extra 15% off for the month of August!! Nice surprise!!! The BEST thing is that...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
