We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant during our stay in Rome. We did not stay here however so I can't comment on that aspect. It being our last night in Rome we wanted to have a rooftop experience in Rome and the concierge at another hotel was most helpful in trying to get us a reservation at one of...

I have been a regular business guest at this hotel for a few months now. I chose it, after staying at the NH Vittorio Veneto across the road, which I found very poor at customer service. I never regretted the choice, as all the staff at Victoria is competent, warm and very welcoming. They really care about your well being...

The customer service at this hotel was exceptional. The front desk check in and service in the breakfast was really nice, however the rooms (bedding/linen/curtains/floors) was very dated. The bathroom was the best part of the room. Not sure what happened to my temperature control, but I had it set about 17 overnight at at some point we were sweating...

We stayed for one night in the hotel Victoria as a pre cruise stopover. The first room we were given had a very dirty carpet which I really didn't feel comfortable with even for one night .I then asked for a different room which they gave me which looked like the carpet had been removed which actually was better . Whilst the position of the hotel is good our room was in need of a make over and some modernisation ...It is Rome but it was quite expensive for the standard overall .. Staff helpful and help us enjoy our stay.

Stayed here for three nights on a city break. Hotel is very traditional with friendly and efficient staff. Room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and nice coffee.Location was good, being in a quieter area, near the Borghese Gardens, but not too far to walk to central Rome. Had a lovely meal on the roof terrace and...

We stayed here for one night prior to a cruise the following day. The staff were very helpful carrying our bags and giving us suggestions of where to eat. The hotel is well situated opposite the Borghese gardens and a 10- 15 minute walk downhill to the Spanish steps. We had initially booked to eat in the hotel restaurant in...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
