Older hotel but very well kept. Comfortable rooms at a fair price. Upgraded bathroom in very clean white. Nice restaurant and bar up on the roof. Several restaurants very close by and taxis right up the street.

A nice little hotel. Nice views of the city from its rooftop. Rooms are adequately appointed. Its in an old building just like everything around Rome (something I like) lots of history. Food spots, convenience stores, cafe, shops around the corner is a plus.

From arriving at this hotel the staff made us feel welcome, greeted us with a smile which sometimes you don,t get in hotels. Helped us with directions when asked and showed us where we would enjoy seeing. Nothing was too much bother for them. The breakfast was beautiful and plentiful, with something for everyone. The room was comfortable and very...

Room was clean but small. Staff at hotel were very nice and helpful. Great location near Borghese Gardens and Museum. Bus stop to downtown Rome a short walk from the hotel. One block away from Via Venuto for shops and transportation.

Residential Hotel Victoria in September last year with my friends. The hotel was good, but not glamorous. Single room in the first floor was more modest overall lever, but clean. Breakfast was excellent, as well as a roof terrace with views. Location is not quite optimal. Good option. Osmo, Finland

We spent four nights at this hotel at the beginning of a tour, and it was quite perfect for us. The location allowed easy walking to every site we wished to visit, and the accommodations were clean, well maintained, and welcoming. The staff was personable and professional, and we always felt safe when we were out and about in the...

While we loved our stay here eight years ago, our return visit this Fall was very disappointing. Because Fall travel in Rome is so popular, our travel agent advised us to pay for our room in advance, which we did, booking a superior twin bed room. When we arrived with our paid voucher, we were given a bare bones basic...

We stayed at the Hotel Victoria for a week in Rome and really enjoyed the accommodations. Breakfast every morning was really convenient. Definitely more extensive and healthy than a continental breakfast in a chain U.S. hotel, and we thought the selection of fruit, croissants, breads, meats, cheese and yogurts was a great and easy way to start our day. The...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
