We stayed three days two nights at the refurbished Hotel Savoy in Rome. The guest services were helpful with free email. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom that included a bidet. We loved the free morning breakfast in their large grotto downstairs. Beautiful garden top restaurant and bar upstairs where you can see the city.

I have been to Rome many times. This time I wanted to be near Via Veneto in a spacious, clean, air conditioned hotel, but as I was traveling with 2 teenagers, I did not want to spend the money on a luxury hotel. Hotel Savoy was perfect for us. Rome is meant for walking, and we walked easily to all...

The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was fantastic although there were no oats on offer! We will definitely stay here if ever we are fortunate...

My wife and I decided to visit Rome to celebrate our friends special birthday and decided to go with Citalia who are a specialist Italian Holiday company and pre-booked transport from the airport to the hotel and the return trip. We chose this hotel to be close enough to the places we wanted to visit but at the same time be quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The hotel is set in an old palace with all the grandeur that brings with it. The staff were very charming, helpful and attentive. The room was spotless and spacious, air conditioned...

So many pros: The concierge was super responsive over Facebook messenger, even after we left and I realized I left part of a charger behind! They checked and it's now in the post! Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
