This hotel is beautiful. We loved our stay here. We were very happy that it is so close to the colosseum and the Roman Forum is right down the block. It has a beautiful bar, comfortable beds, great service, and a great location. I also agree with a recent reviewer of this hotel that it is very well deserving of...

The hotel is less than 10 min from the Roman Colosseum. There's no closer stay. The location is excellent. The hotel itself is also very nice. It is very deserving of the 4-star rating. The rooms are spacious and simply beautiful. The staff is helpful. My only disappointment was having to pay to get WIFI in my room. If the...

Our 3rd floor room was very clean and nicely appointed. It may have been larger than most because it was a front corner. The bathroom was also nice and though the shower was tiny - it worked out very well. Extras like slippers and a small refirgerator were nice touches; however, the best thing was the location. Walk down the...

As a young student I tend to travel around Europe and usually stay at 3+ star hotels. Unfortunately my experience at Palatino was not as expected nor worthy of the rate we paid. Despite the central location and the newly refurbished rooms we were let down by the poor attendants of the breakfast buffet and badly mannered receptionists. Who ignorantly...

great location, lots of local restaurants in the area behind the hotel. near the subway to get to the Vatican. walked everywhere else. Had a refurbished room, so it was very nice. only issue was the A/C. they shut it off during the night and I about died. Front desk said open window, well yea, then you are awake all...

This hotel is only 3 blocks from the coloseum and 4 from the forum. The Cavour Metro station is only a block away. Many very good to great restaurants nearby. Lots of tourist groups use this hotel, but try for one of the roomy, recently renovated top floor rooms with a balcony overlooking the city. No famous sights, but lively...

We stayed here in November for just 3 nights. Location was just minutes from anywhere in the center we needed to walk. Reception was efficient, room spacious and clean, temperature was well regulated for this time of the year, bathroom comfortable and well lit. Mattress seemed to have good quality and sleep was restful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, and good...

I stayed at this hotel in May for a few days as part of a Gate 1 tour. The location was central and close to everything. I walked to the colosseum several times and was always able to easily find my way back to the hotel. Even when I got lost on my nightly quests in search of gelato, the...

Great location. Minutes from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We obviously had different staff from some of the reviews because hardly any of them spoke English or even acknowledged you. The rooms were clean and ok but didn't match a hotel of this rating I felt. The room was stifling at night and we couldn't sleep. We couldn't get the...

We recently spent a weekend at this hotel and had an overall pleasant stay. First of all the staff are efficient, generally polite and seem to have very good grasp on English. Secondly, our room was clean, modern and comfortable. Although the walls are very thin and you know everything that goes on either side if you. However it didn't...
