Being the first place to land in Rome, or for that matter Italy, we were happy to have come here. Pleasant desk personnel and comfortable bar and sitting areas. Breakfast is nice, dinner even better. Poor wifi. Great location near the Colosseum.

This is an unloved cash cow of a hotel. If you get a good room rate, then don't complain. But we paid (over the odds) for a four star experience (stupid us) - so here goes: We were price-gouged on Booking.com. We paid a lot for this for a 4-star hotel - (for nearly a week, ouch). There were plenty...

Dear ElGordo, Thank you for your review regarding your stay at Grand Hotel Palatino, we greatly appreciate your willingness to share your experience with us. We regret to read your disappointment about our complimentary breakfast as despite the elegant and welcoming environment in which it is served, you can find on our buffet a lot of choices from sweet to...

This hotel is very well situated...short walk to Colosseum and Roman Forum. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hotel is stylish, very clean and efficient. good check in and luggage storage facilities.. The breakfast buffet is amazing...all you could possibly want. We tried the hotel restaurant several times...the menu is very limited and rather expensive. Very pleasant bar, and stylish...

An indicator of the quality of this hotel--there is a fresh frame of comb honey on the breakfast buffet (a new one every morning). As a beekeeper, I would charge no less than $75 for each one of these. The only downfall that I experienced is that the wifi is slow, but still free, so I won't reduce the rating...

One of the excellent hotel I have ever stayed. This hotel is located in the Center and closed to all the major touristic attraction such as Colosseum which is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Room is big with modern design and comfortable beds. Very clean and very well maintained. Staffs are courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was grand...

If you want to visit the Colosseum and the Forum, this has got to be one of the best locations possible. The walk there it one long block up a small hill. If you can't walk up that hill, you are going to find the rest of the day very long and very challenging! There are a number of excellent...

The hotel room was large and very clean. It was modern, a good shower, hairdryer and comfortable beds. There was a safe in the room, no iron although the hotel took anything that required ironing and did it for you. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum and 15/20 minutes from the Trevi Fountain. There are lots...

It is just 2 block away for all the main attractions you need to see in ROME. The hotel is very well maintained and also close to the main station. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Our hotel room was very nice - it was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a nice variety from which to choose. The location is about a 5-10 minute walk (depending upon your pace) from the Colosseum and the Forum. It is about a 3 minute walk to...

Good sized room, which was facing the main road at the front. It was an extremely warm room, but on opening the windows you had the traffic noise. But the location of the hotel more than made up for this problem. A great number of excellent restaurants nearby, on top of that the Metro is no more than 100 metres...
