A great location, clean rooms and bathrooms, great relaxing space. This was one of the best hostels of my trip. The staff was great as well. It was very quiet and the location was central and a great walking distance from many interesting things to see!

One of the nicest places I stayed in on my travels. The wifi was good, the bathroom was cleaned daily and kept quite nice anyway - depends on your flatmates but we were fine! Breakfast was luxurious compared to others with toast, cereal, tea/coffee to help yourself to. Common room with dining table, bean bags, and tv. Genuinely great stay!...

Overall I would highly recommend this hostel! I stayed for 4 nights and this was the end of a month long trip in Europe. It was definitely one of the better hostels I stayed at in Europe - location is great: about a 10 minute walk from termini station and close to all the main attractions like the Spanish steps...

Stayed in the 1st floor mixed dorm for one night in July. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and super helpful. Make sure you take a copy of the directions with you so you can find it (even with the directions I got a bit lost). It is centrally located and a great base to explore the sights of Rome....

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay while visiting la città eterna, this might be the right pick. It is not a party hostel, so if you want at all costs to meet people for partying try somewhere else. Staff 5/5: super friendly and helpful. Location5/5: great, it is a 7 min. walk to the Barberini metro...

Location: 4/5 - You can walk to most of the major sites in Rome from here. It's just round the corner from Hard Rock cafe. The station isn't too far either. The only thing about the location is that there isn't an underground station very close. Wifi: 4/5 - Was pretty good. It was fine in the room & common...

I stayed at the Contrara twice on different nights, the first night was fine, however if you can request what building to stay ask for the one that conects with the stairs at the bar. The first night we stayed in the one across the reception and it was not as clean as the other one. They give you a...

This hostel really feels like home. So close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Not to far away from Roma Termini station. You can walk or take a bus to get to the hostel. Overall, the hostel is clean and tidy.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
