Hi All Nice Hotel, very adequate room with en-suite and good breakfast and location handy for walking to all the major attractions, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Vatican City. We did 40 miles walking in 4 days according to my Mobile. I will say, get a decent Map as all the freebies lead you up the Garden Path, I...

After getting from the sprawl that is di vinci airport, we arrived at the hotel . From the outside it looks ok, however inside was quite different. The decor was in shabby chic, our room decorated in gold and red. The staff could not have been more helpful, our cases were taken up to our room with no fuss at...

Hotel Veneto is situated about 5 mins walk from the Spanish Steps, 10 mins from the Trevi Fountain, a great location for all the tourist areas. I found the staff very welcoming, the room was small but clean. I cant fault this hotel.

Arrived at 1.00pm on Sunday afternoon to only be told check in was at 2.00pm. We were exhausted after the journey. So, myself and my 13 year old daughter were quite hungry so asked for a recommendation to a cheap place to eat. I explained we wanted a place were it was cheap and very Italian as we both lived...

My wife and I had a fabulous city break to Rome for a long weekend, Thursday to Sunday and stayed in the alleged 4 star Veneto Palace Hotel. I do wonder why the standards of star ratings do not appear consistent in every country. Certainly by UK standards this would be a 3 star at a stretch. The website flatters...

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 night stay in Rome, a stunningly beautiful city and a must if you have not been before. We stayed at the Veneto Palace which we found to be a very "quaint" hotel within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. The room we were allocated was quite small,...

Not four star by English Standards but clean and tidy.Room of a good size as was the bathroom.Shame the bath was so difficult to get out of and not conducive to a relaxing soak and the shower needed a PhD in engineering to figure out how to use.Free wi fi was a god send.Staff were friendly although you did have...

Booked this hotel as part of a package deal with Expedia and was pleasantly surprised for the price! Admittedly the pictures online make the Hotel rooms look more spacious but that doesn't matter at the end of the day... it was air conditioned and with a comfy much appreciated bed!! The breakfast they offer isn't for everyone but i enjoyed...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
