Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Loved my stay here. Was tricky finding the location at first from the train station as there were twin hotels on different sides of the street. Inside was modern and contemporary and staff were friendly. Breakfast included was delicious and atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

My son and me had a very pleasant two night stay here. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to others.

How easy is it to get to the cruise port?
The easiest way is to hire a private car to take you directly from the hotel to the ship. You can also go by train but once you get to the port you have to hire a taxi and many taxis cannot take you all the way to the ship, so you have to walk with all your luggage.
