We were a bit unsure about the hotel after reading some reviews on it. But to our surprise this was an amazing hotel by far, the staff were more than helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!!! The next time we visit Rome Berg Luxury is where we'll be heading!!! :)

My wife and I came here for a short break and we were overwhelmed by the standard of the hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. Pity I can only give 5*. For anybody thinking of staying here ...... stop thinking just do it, you won't be disappointed.

My partner had booked into this hotel for 3nights but when we arrived we were told that they had a problem with the room so moved us to the Ludovisi Palace just round the corner, although this was a very nice hotel she had paid a fortune for the penthouse and they were very blasé about it, I have since...

Stayed in this hotel for a week. Most impressive was the room cleanliness and tidiness every day. Room and bathroom are modern and large. Location is also perfect, if wanting to escape crowds; located on a quiet street but walking distance to good restaurants, shopping and other necessities. Staff was not intrusive, polite and courteous. Did not have check- in...

We spent one night at Berg Hotel and since I was a bit concerned from some of the reviews stating that no room was available at the check-in I contacted the hotel in advance. The immediately replied to my email confirming that the room will be available as reserved. It probably helped that it is low season at the moment....

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights mid-December 2013. It was our first stay in Rome and found this hotel via Voyage Prive. This hotel is very well located, South of Villa Borghese and only 5-10 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps and maybe 15 minutes away from the main shopping area of via del Corso. This ideal to...

Great location and room was clean and well appointed. However, there was no hot water the first morning we were there. After 3 phone calls spaced 45 minutes apart where we were assured "someone will be at your room in a couple of minutes", finally someone showed up before noon to tell us we'd have to find another hotel. When...

3 nights of no hot water and cool reception makes this a place to avoid! But if you decide to stay there request a room that doesn't over look alley, that has hot water and that has air condition! Even in November our Room was hot hot and when we told staff, we were met with complaints by the staff...

Avoid this hotel as they seem to routinely double book rooms and send you to a substandard hotel as we found out. When we protested the man at reception was unhelpful and rude. Don't risk it as there are lots of nice hotels in Rome. We wish we had taken notice of the other reviews.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
