The first time we rented from Rome Loft, I just accidentally found them through a link and emailed Rome Loft. We stayed at the Sant' Onofrio Terrace Apartment in Trastevere. It has a lift typical of European lifts. This is very common. That's already a plus since we were on the top floor. When we got inside, the view was...

This is the Rome Loft Apartment at via Francesco Crispi 30. Very good location. Easily accessible and close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Generally clean and cozy. Would have rated it higher if not for the blocked shower drainage on our first night there that flooded the dining area. Was rectified following morning. Also the manager's assistant made us...

Very cozy place to go with the family. Just around the corner the beautiful Colosseum. Supermarket 5 minutes away, clean, spacious and very enjoyable. The only issue (closet door broken) was never solved but other than that, the location was perfect. Tube station 10mins away.

Stayed for 3 nights in late May at this wonderful apartment. Have to pick up keys at the main Apartments Apart office first which is a hassle but we knew that in advance. Arrange for a car to wait while you pick up the keys and no problem. Also their credit card machine was not working so we had to...

We stayed in Apartment Castel San Angelo in Rome for 3 nights. It was a very nice experience. Apartmet is clean, spacious and well equipped. Location is perfect. Building is old, but well located and not hard to find. There were a lot of nice small restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. There is a good bus connection to Termini...

Stayed in this one bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The bedroom was huge, and had a double bed and a double sofa bed, with another sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen was clean and new with plenty of utensils, tea towels etc. Old building, a little hard to find, but close to the Apartment Apart office. The washing...

Unfortunately, we experienced a few problems and overall, were disappointed with our stay. The apartment is located centrally, but very close(10 meters) to an unemployment office and a strip club. This seemed to encourage unpleasant activities in the alley outside the front door, including groups drinking at night, sitting on the steps.  In the mornings we found many, many empty...

I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism than I did with Apartments Apart (the whole worldwide company, not just Rome). I wish I could review my stay in one of their apartments in Rome, but I never made it to the front door. My partner and I were getting in late one evening, and kindly, the staff suggested...

We stayed at a spacious apartment near termini. The place was clean and quiet. The major problem was that there was little and inconsistent flow of hot water in the shower. You can imagine the frustration at the end of a long day of walking in Rome. This did not seem like a temporary problem, but rather a continuing issue...

I have traveled many places around the world and I have experienced many different hotels and places to stay and this apartment and the company are at the bottom of my list. We stayed at the Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. Where to begin. First of all the description included air conditioning. There are air conditioning units in the apartment but...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
