Four nights in Rome in a great hotel. Easy walk to most major sites and if you like to walk, we did so after our visit to the Vatican. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we return to Rome....

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and the hotel is centrally located to the train station. We pre-blocked the room the previous night because we had an early flight the following day, however when we reached the hotel, the receptionist (elderly lady with red hair) mentioned that they have reserved a spacious triple room for us and that...

We had a quick one day in Rome, and just needed a small, clean, safe hotel within walking distance of most sites. Hotel Italia was perfect. Got this from a Rick Steves' travel recommendation. The room was small, but very nice and all we needed. Staff were delightful. Breakfast was outstanding with a great spread and delicious cappuccino.

We stayed two nights at the beginning of our Italy trip and three nights at the end. Hopefully because we were 'good" guests, we were upgraded to a larger and more luxurious room on our return to Rome. The hotel was recommend by Rick Steeves and it certainly met our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful to new...

Spent 2 nights here the first of September. Easy 15 minute walk from Roma Termini. A little funky getting up to 3rd floor where reception was located, small elevator if you need it. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. Rooms not large, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice amenities are the common area off the reception area...

- The hotel coordinated a taxi for us and sent us to the wrong airport, overcharged us, and made us miss our flight - For your own sake avoid this hotel - Insects found in room - Our room smelled like a mix of indian/chinese food

Its hard to find the door to the hotel as it is only rooms within a building shared by many businesses. They have a camera at the door on the street and buzz you in. To get to the hotel desk, you need to drag your suitcase up a few stairs here and there. The elevator only fits two persons...

A last minute booking when I got stuck in Rome for the evening....in the height of tourist season I was able to book this place at 9pm.... The Good: location is OK and the staff friendly. The Bad: my single had a micro twin bed (which I suppose was good because its small size allowed me to get to the...
