Overall, an excellent hotel in a great location. The people at the reception area were knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is in a quiet area, but very easy to walk everywhere. We had a deluxe room which was reasonable for European city norms and nice updated bathroom. The

We stayed at the hotels apartments during Easter break. Every morning we woke to the smell of freshly baked bread from a baker at the corner of the square and made our way down to the market to buy fresh fruit and veggies for the day. We walked from our apartment to all the

Dear Donald, You review is very flattering and I cannot be more delighted for the expressions you have dedicated on our Boutique Hotel! Thank you. Your stunning review clearly suggests you have had an outstandingly memorable stay. Our consolidated experience in hospitality backed by almost 2700 reviews we have received so far of putting ourselves in everybody’s shoes, thus making everyone feel part of our big family is what we aim to achieve with everyone stepping into our doors. Providing a tailored and attentive service with passion and genuinely recommending just the most worthy experiences to have in our Eternal City goes far beyond providing still an outstanding accommodation in a peerless property and this is what distinguishes us the most. Moreover, staying in one of our apartments you have the opportunity to have a full immersion in our culture of living like a Roman. I wholeheartedly suggest to all the readers to have a look just at our official website, since this is the only place to discover offers and to contact my staff in advance, since they are specialist in reserving pick-ups, book guided tours to the main spots, so as to skip all the long and stressful lines and to accommodate any other requests. Thanking you once more for taking time for us, the whole staff, especially Francesco, Valentina and I are wishing to welcoming you again in a close future. Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening to the ears of another, feeling with the heart of another. Warmest regards, The Manager

We were at the end of an amazing 4 weeks in Austria and Italy for my wife's 50th birthday and Rome was our last destination. To complicate matters we had a special surprize guest flying in the day before we arrived from Australia. The Hotel was amazing and was the highlight of

I would agree. Ask for a room near the back of the hotel. There is a fair amount of street noise even up to about 3am in the morning. Plus then the early morning noise of businesses opening up and vehicle traffic cleaning up. The room we were in had shutters on the inside and it was pitch black at night and early morning.

Hello. I can answer some of your questions but not all of them. My husband and I stayed in one of the apartments (on the first floor, overlooking the square) in early December. There is an open-plan eating/sitting area with a double bed which we found very comfortable. There was a separate bedroom with a single bed in an inner room, without any windows. The kitchen area is small, on the corridor leading from the door into the main room. Coffee is made using ground coffee in one of the Italian metal coffee pots which you put on to a hot ring for a few minutes. There is not a Nespresso or other machine but there is a kettle. I don't think that you can get a cup of coffee in the hotel: I think that they only provide breakfast for people staying in the hotel rooms. However, they do have a drinks menu for the terrace, from which you place your order at reception, so maybe coffee is included on that menu. This apartment was not quiet in the evenings. It looks out on a square which is lined with bars and restaurants and they are busy until after midnight (probably later at the weekend). I found it hard to get to sleep the first night because of the buzz downstairs but after that I got used to it. I imagine that it would be much noisier during the summer months. I can't answer your question about air conditioning but I didn't think the apartment was particularly stuffy.

I would say yes, and that you could definitely arrange with the staff for champagne and privacy and even someone to take your picture. For those who say there are other better places in Rome, my own proposal story suggests a reason to think twice about those alternatives. I proposed in a fabulous outdoor location in Paris, that I still believe is unbeatable. Very romantic, in theory. However, it was colder than expected and my girlfriend (now wife) needed to use a rest room and the moment was basically ruined. Places out in the open without ready access to indoors and bathrooms are a risk. The terrace allows you a nice outdoor location with a view, and if weather or other natural issues arise, you have a ready plan B. Congratulations and good luck!

We stayed in a deluxe room on the 4th floor. Did not have a problem with the room being dark even though the decor is baroque style with rich colours. There were 2 tall casement windows which have shutters which can be opened for daylight or closed at night for noise reduction. The reading lights were over the bed. Not a problem. Definitely a lovely place to stay.
