Our rooms and bathrooms were cleaned every day and the place was pristine. The location is so handy, there are regular buses about a 2 minute walk away that will take...

We stayed here as a couple for eight days and we have to say: It was the best decision. We really loved our room, our very own bathroom and balcony. Every room is assigned to a particular animal and the decoration is very detailed and nice. It feels like home and it is very cozy. The rooms have air conditioning,...

Away from the tourist masses, this stylish B&B feels like a calm oasis in what can be an exhausting city. It features clean and modern rooms (a bit like an Ikea catalog), a friendly host, an abundant breakfast (by Italian standards, at least), powerful air conditioning, and a quiet location atop a building in a residential upper-middle class neighborhood. In...

Visited with my hubby & 14 year old son for a long weekend break to the Vatican City. Perfectly placed just a leisurely 10 minute stroll to the station and 3 mins train journey to Vatican. One euro per journey! Bamboo is lovely, clean with fabulous rooms and private modern bathroom. It is on the 5th floor but there is...

Well, this was the only place in our family trip that we would not go back to. Very hard to find parking near by, and when you arrive with kids it is not fun to spend 20 min to find garage. The hosts are very welcoming, very nice, the rooms are big, clean and well designed. However, the shower is...

We had a 7 day great stay, Claudia was wonderful and welcoming. We had our daughter Lily with us, she especially liked the breakfasts.Felt like you were staying with friends rather than an impersonal hotel. We were visiting a friend at the American University so it was very close and convenient .

Staying in Monteverde

Neighbourhood Profile
Monteverde
Above the city on the Janiculum hill, Monteverde is Rome’s popular "getaway" neighbourhood, coveted for its greenery. Rome's largest urban park, Villa Pamphili, is the area's centrepiece with affordable prices and peace and quiet. Monteverde is just far enough away from the centre to feel like you’re on a Roman holiday and close enough to feel the lure of Rome's chaos. Though its downside is the lack of scheduled public transport, this family-oriented area is literally a well-deserved walk in the park.

We are close to the city train station "Quattro Venti", 10 minutes from the Vatican, 5 minutes from Trastevere, the famous nightlife district of Rome and 15 minutes from the central train station where you can take any underground line to bring you to the Colosseum and other downtown destinations. Bamboo is convenient for those coming from the airport or those who must go to the hospitals of S. Camillo or Forlanini. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, all have a private bathroom and a terrace and are cleaned every day. The breakfast is served on the veranda or the terrace. We are happy to welcome you and provide you with all information to make your trip unforgettable.
