I stayed there a few nights with my mum during Xmas 2016. The owners were very welcoming, always making sure we would be confortable as well as giving us amazing tips for Rome. Room was great, spacious enough to accommodate two and clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious too !!! Go there, you won't be disappointed.

My partner and I spent a wonderful 4 days and nights at this B&B. The room is part of the owners' apartment but in a different tract thus offering enough privacy. We were in the room "San Pietro", a very spacious, clean and quiet room with its windows on back side of the building. It was quiet most of the...

I spent a long weekend in Rome at the bed and breakfast. It is located in a side street to the main road to St. Peter Square. It can be easily reached from the main railway station (Roma Termini) with bus Number 40 Express (check about then number it could be I am not remembering correct), in about 20 minutes...

We spent 5 wonderful days in Rome. The hotel is in 4 minutes walk from the entrance to the Vatican, we could walk easily over the bridge to Trastevere. Ms. Rosanna and Francesco are kind, and friendly hosts, always ready to help. The room is clean, and one can sleep very good at night, there is no noise at all....

I stayed whilst travelling around Italy with a friend at Christmas and we could not have found a more perfect place. The location is great, the hosts Rosanna and Francesco are very warm, friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I'm going back in a few weeks and really looking forward to it.

Very nicely situated hotel and friendly service. Location couldn't be better for a family with a young child. Steps away from the Vatican, but not in all the noise, you are also so close to the Tevere and the beautiful Ponte Sant'Angelo. There is also a playground just behind the Castello and usually a Merry-Go-Round that is sure to keep...

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
