I was due to have a relatively complicated holiday in Rome. My girlfriend was to stay with me for four nights, a friend two and I would stay five. We started in a double room, my friend stayed in a single for one night, girlfriend left and he moved in. I asked if it could be switched to a twin...

"Hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel was walking distance to every attraction and the location was perfect. It wasn't noisy or too busy and when we asked the staff for a kettle in our room, it wasn't standard but they got us one immediately anyway. They were helpful in telling us directions and ordering us a...

Just returned from 4 nights in Rome. Stayed in Hotel Sant Angelo and what a wonderful location. 5 minutes from the Airport shuttle bus stop. 15 minutes from Piazza Navone, 10 minutes from Vatican City. Brilliant. It was 5 mins from the Tiber and we were easily able to navigate Rome using the River as our guide. The hotel was...

Great location for seeing Vatican and area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok ,not gourmet but enough to keep you going. Rooms are basic no frills, fine for a short stay when you're out and about. Overall good value for money, good location ideal for weekend break.

Fantastic location and absolutely value for money. Friendly staff. Only negative experience we had was that the airconditioning didnt work properly in winter. Otherwise only compliments to the hotel and staff for our wonderful stay.

Sir, We're very happy for your satisfaction, we're also glad that you enjoyed our wonderful location and our friendly staff, even though the little inconvenient about the a.c. (now properly fixed). We truly hope you'll soon be our guest again. Kind regards

My husband and I stayed in this hotel 7-11 Dec 2011. Good time of year to visit Rome as tourist attractions not so busy, hardly any queues. We were very impressed with hotel and its locations - within walking distance of the Vatican. Our room was clean and of a good standard. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
