Great location next to Piazza Cavour (SIT bus from airport has a stop here- €6.) Stayed here 5 years ago for 1 month and happy again this time. Excellent front desk management with patience, informative, polite and pleasant attitude. Breakfast room ladies detail oriented, with sense of humor and dealing wonderfully with so many languages speaking here. It surprised me...

We just returned from an extended stay at the Hotel Sant' Angelo. We had a great time. The place is nice, clean and centrally located. The best asset is the staff. Silvia, Valeria, Beatriz, Martina, Filippo, Marco, and Giancarlo were excellent. They all went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. They were very helpful re;...

I just got back from a 3 night stay at the hotel and it was wonderful! The hotel is located great, and we could walk everywhere. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We stayed 4 in one room so it was kind of crowded but we didn't mind. The best thing about the hotel is the staff,...

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and had a very different experience on the first half compared to the second half. Let me start with the staff. The staff at Sant Angelo are most definitely friendly and helpful. They're unlike the majority of Roman people we encountered during our stay. We also appreciate the "happy hour" and snacks...

Hotel is lovely! The staff was beyond price - helpful, friendly, all of them was cute. One young lady speaks russian very well. Everyone explains, answer your question, very tolerant and patient. Interion is in old-style. There was some minor problems in our room - shower worked not very well at first, but then we figured out how to use...

A very reasonably priced hotel which is very centrally located. Possibly 3 stars but very clean and the breakfast and happy hour were good, with the exception of scrambled eggs which were always stone cold. Elevators in main building and annexe were tiny, and one didn't work for a period of 2 days, which was very difficult for anyone with...

Great location, staff friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean, street side rooms noisy. Showers very small. Room rate included breakfast, food ok, but eggs, bacon always cold, never had heating elements on, found out the hard way by taking a forkful of scrambled eggs that were ice cold. Appetizers available at front desk all the time, appetizers at 6:30 pm in...

During my last visit to Rome I was accommodated in hotel Sant Angelo. This is a great choice, being located at walking distance to Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Cavour. The hotel provides nice and clean rooms, welcome sweets in room, good breakfast and a happy hour in the evening, with complimentary food, pastry and wine. I will definitely come back...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
