We have just come back from a long weekend in Rome with our kids (aged 5 & 7), We stayed at the Sant Angelo. I have only written one review before on TA but was so impressed with the hotel and the staff that i have come back to write again. The location is fantastic, really close to the Castle... More

A very reasonably priced hotel which is very centrally located. Possibly 3 stars but very clean and the breakfast and happy hour were good, with the exception of scrambled eggs which were always stone cold. Elevators in main building and annexe were tiny, and one didn't work for a period of 2 days, which was very difficult for anyone with... More

Great location, staff friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean, street side rooms noisy. Showers very small. Room rate included breakfast, food ok, but eggs, bacon always cold, never had heating elements on, found out the hard way by taking a forkful of scrambled eggs that were ice cold. Appetizers available at front desk all the time, appetizers at 6:30 pm in... More

During my last visit to Rome I was accommodated in hotel Sant Angelo. This is a great choice, being located at walking distance to Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Cavour. The hotel provides nice and clean rooms, welcome sweets in room, good breakfast and a happy hour in the evening, with complimentary food, pastry and wine. I will definitely come back... More

I stayed in the hotel annex for three nights in mid-September. I was aware from reading other reviews that there was a main hotel and an annex, but I wasn't sure of its location. Turns out it is just down the street on the opposite side, directly opposite The Naughty Monkey Bar. The best thing about the hotel is it... More

It's a clean hotel, with good breakfast. The staff was nice and friendly. It was good for our budget. We definitely would return to stay at this hotel. Hotel was with basic stuff, no minibar. Is located near Plaza de Espanya.

What a fantastically placed Hotel, slap bang in central Rome. Clean, nice staff, helpful, and comfortable to the point of cozy. It might not be 5 star but it's got more of an independent vibe to it, rather than luxury. You could upgrade but pay a lot more, if you can afford it, then go for it. Very friendly atmosphere,... Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
