Booked my husband's birthday weekend with Easyjet holidays and the Turner was the best 'rated' hotel available at the time, Newcastle - Ciampino. We paid £1,300 for three nights at the hotel including return flights, Friday to Sunday. Taxi from airport at 2040 hours - cocky elderly driver drove at a frightening 140 km per hour, then charged us double...

Our stay at the Turner was interesting to say the least. Our party of 5 had 3 rooms and we stayed for 3 nights. On arrival we were hardly greeted, more frowned at! Very little eye contact and none from the more mature man on reception. To be fair they did make one room available to us as we had...

We stayed for two nights in Rome in late September 2007. The outside of the hotel was being renovated, so it wasn't much to look at when we were arriving. Our room was slightly above average--the wood floor was nice, it was fairly roomy (I think we may have had a small suite, as other guests we spoke to didn't...

I dont understand why everyone is so passionate about this hotel in one way or another. It's fine for the price. Staff are friendly. Its not the cleanest place nor the dirtiest. Rooms are y room a small, ypical for older Eurpean hotels. Breakfast was nothing special. Free WiFi in lobby and 1 free internet computer. Very quiet area close...

The hotel needs up grading, it boosts Jacuzzi shower it didn't work, the breakfast...

This was our first vacation to Rome, Italy and Hotel Turner (located at Porta Pia) helped to make it a wonderful experience. Upon our arrival, we noticed that there was some work being done on the front of the hotel and the hotel was not that far from Terminal Station (Train Station). We wonder had we made selected the right...

Myself and my best friend stayed at this hotel for three nights on August 6th 2007. Plus points was that the hotel was in an excellent position for reaching the sights of Rome. The Breakfast room was stunning and very opulent. The staff were exceptionally kind and courteous. The only negative point was the size of the bedroom...a little pokey...

Very lush hotel!! In a very nice waelthy bit of town. Next to loads of secret gems. Easy bus trip to town or 15-20min walk. Probably better than staying right in the centre as its a quiter, better kept area. The hotel had beautiful decoration and furniture. Lots of marble, gold guilting and silk damask. Very luxurious. Feel like a...

I stayed at Hotel Turner, Porta Pia during my second honeymoon in Rome with my husband. This hotel is excellent as a 3.5 stars hotel but there are many things in this hotel that has to be improved in order to achieve 4 stars quality. The hotel is located at Porta Pia, about 800metres from Termini Central Station and 50...

Overall a good hotel which was value for money. We booked a superior double which was worth the extra 10 euros a night. Room was a decent size as was the bathroom and we had a balcony over looking Porta Oia. Good area for transport and getting round the city. Area quiet in the evenings with some lovely resturants close...
