It is an Hotel I recommend. Well placed in a walking distance from many places of interest. Comfortable ,with big rooms , and polite personnel. The breakfast is reasonable, but nothing special. Although the rooms are clean the hotel need some maintenance

We took train from airport to Termini station and it's 10 min walk from station. We walked everywhere except Vatican City and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Lots of restaurants and the reception was more than helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend this hotel!

the exterior of the building is beautiful and so is the patio garden, location is good too, reasonable breakfast (espresso from machine). The inside rooms need internal renovation - old furniture, carpets, Air condition doesn't work, when opening windows a lot of street noise comes in, wi-fi was not working in my room

This is a lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, well maintained and well appointed rooms. It's major plus is that it has a rear courtyard so you don't hear the traffic so much as when sitting road side. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice though the fruit all seemed to be out of a tin and I would have preferred prepared...

Good location to restaurants, shopping the Metro. I will agree with most reviews that the front desk staff was not friendly.. even the person at the desk who seemed to be in charge was not friendly. I work for a hotel company for over 25 years and one of the most important things is to have a front desk staff...

We enjoyed a great stay at this classic Rome hotel. Staff was professional and cordial. Location was excellent so close to so many tourist attractions. We would use this hotel again and again. They provided us a great breakfast.

Rooms were a little small, but had everything you need. Breakfast was great and had a lot to choose from. Staff was wonderful, very close to subway and within walking distance to a lot of sights. We will defiantly return.

It was a straight toss up between the usually excellent Sofitel around the corner (OK I'm biased) and this one, but the superior reviews and better price swung it. Upon arrival I sent an email, which was responded to in less than twenty minutes. From that moment I felt that I could be onto a winner! The check-in was seamless...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
