Stayed last week and had a superb time. The hotel is immaculate, stylish, and perfectly located with short walks to Termini station and major attractions. Hotel staff were always helpful, all spoke English, and their advice always spot-on. My key advice is to take your swim-suit for the Spa, we nearly didn't because €30 each seemed a bit pricey for...

My husband, son and I spent four nights at the well located Hotel Artimede. Our rooms were very clean, well-appointed and comfortable just not as quiet as we had hoped. We were on the sixth floor and had requested quiet rooms. During early mornings and late in the evenings there was annoying amount of noise above us and beside us....

Good hotel, great location and excellent staff. Hotel is very clean and room is spacious and quiet. Breakfast is very good, but be ready to wait a little bit for a coffee. Ambrosia restaurant on the roof was really excellent with outstanding service. Hotel staff is very friendly and can help in all you need in Rome, including a best...

Stayed 1 week on a couples getaway. Clean hotel, in great location, with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooftop restaurant and terrace bar, with good cocktails and nice food (although there are so many wonderful restaurants in Rome, you really should go out as much as you can!)

The breakfast manager baked pastries, himself, that morning, starting at 4 a.m.. I have not seen a better display of service in my life. When we arrived, they swooped in to take our bags. They helped us make dinner reservations. They gave us advice on taxis. Everything we asked of the concierge, they came through big time. Breakfast is amazing....

Hotel Artemide and its amenities are outstanding. With relatively small number of rooms, the attentive staff went out of their way to help us on our first visit to Rome very memorable. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. At breakfast, you are warmly welcomed and your choice of morning coffee is remembered. Needing a snack, your refrigerator is...

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left everything was just perfect. We arrived on an early BA flight from London Heathrow, and obviously the room was not ready so we were given two complimentary glasses of Prosecco in the great bar /restaurant on the 7 floor. The sun was shining and so was the delightful barman. We...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
