Excellent hotel, good location near Metro (get a Roma pass). Friendly staff, clean rooms and good food. Hotel near to shops restaurants as well as Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely book there again. I didn't throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain to "guarantee" I'll get back so who knows....

Such a lovely location close to everything. Loved the rooms and we were fortunate to have a balcony to sit and enjoy the sounds of Rome. The breakfasts were very good and plentiful and good "café". Would highly recommend it.

From the minute we arrived at hotel imperiale, we were made to feel very welcome. The room was immaculate, the restaurant fantastic and the food was delicious and very fairly priced. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want a top hotel within easy traveling distance of the local attractions and hop on bus, you won't find...

I am a big fan of the "hop on, hop off" buses in all of the major cities of the world. This hotel is a 3 min walk to a stop. It is also very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Hotel arranged for airport pickup as well as transportation to the port at reasonable prices. Breakfast...

Our stay at the Hotel Imperiale was the highlight or our stay in Rome. We met our son and his wife in Rome, and wanted a place where we could "hang out" in a comfortable environment apart from mealtimes and coffee breaks. We found this hotel by chance, situated in the lovely Via Veneto Street, which is also so centrally...

Disappointing hotel. Misrepresented their facilities with respect to air conditioning, specifically air contidioning was turned on from 5pm-12am by hotel staff leaving the rooms boiling. Hotel staff were very rude and unwilling to admit they lied about being fully air conditioned. Breakfast was a joke with old food mixed together from the day before. The rooms were tired with poor...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
