Recently stayed at the Forum hotel using the Groupon voucher scheme. This hotel is very authentic - making you feel you really were in Rome rather than a bland chain hotel. Room was very clean with a view onto the cobble stoned front. Fully air-coned. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a fabulous way to wake up to Rome with...

We thank you for your kind review and we are sorry that you didn't stay longer at the American Bar but our rates are in line with the bars of this category. Very best regards.

The best thing about this hotel is it's proximity to all the main sights. You can see the Collossuem, The Roman Forum and Il Vitorriano from the roof terrace and all the main sights are within easy walking distant ( Trevi Fountain 5 mins, the Vatican 30 mins). Our rooms were located in an annex which required us to go...

Great location for all the sites. Definitely not four star. Room small and below average for what was charged by Citalia. We stayed B/B. Breakfast was fair. Staff pleasant enough. Would not go back! Not good value for the money paid.

The staff at Hotel Forum are super friendly, and all speak perfect English. Upon checking in, you get a card for a free drink in their bar on the top floor which has an awesome view. The hotel is only a block away from the colosseum, and there are ruins right in front. There are so many things to see...

Stay away from this hotel. There is only 1 good thing about this hotel: the location. Persons at reception are unfriendly. When you ask questions, they shove flyers to your face and are in a hurry to get you out of their faces. Right outside this hotel is a very small alley but is actually a very busy street where...

We are in the storical and archeological centre of Rome, the little road in front of the hotel is the one that, 2000 years ago was part of the Foro di Nerva. The furnitures of the Hotel is Louis XVI style and it is characteristic of a bygone era. Only for 1 night of your stay the air conditioning was...

I used Trip Advisor originally to find the best location for a hotel in Rome. I did not want to taxi anywhere nor did I want to rent a car (crazy crazy drivers!!) While reading the reviews, I understood that a lot of folks thought Hotel Forum was the best location for walking ancient Rome AND IT WAS!! I looked...

My family of five occupied two rooms over 3 nights at the Hotel Forum in Rome. Although the hotel is ideally located, its weaknesses outweigh this sole benefit. Our experience at this hotel was poor. Our rooms, situated at the far end of the hotel, were clean but definitely dated, and the bathroom in my room was tiny and poorly...

It is a pity that you have not been satisfy with your stay but a technical problem can happen at every moment. One of the two rooms had the air conditionnng working well and the other room has the air conditionning half working. We have done everything we could with the maintenance staff to assist you, and we have even...

Having just arrived back from our second trip to Amazing Rome we have once again been wowed. Unfortunately the same can't be said for this Hotel. Although we were not guests we wanted to have a meal and enjoy the view. We were welcomed in by the concierge and directed to restaurant. The dining room and views were stunning. Much...

We require long trousers for dinner therefore we try to use the most kind words to explain this very simple rule. Granted that it is a hot season and is more comfortable to wear shorts to wander Rome, when you arrived we offered to you to wait for your husband on our beautiful American Bar terrace while he go to...

This hotel is well located just across the road from the Roman Forum and a short walk to the Colosseum and the Victor Emmanuelle building. It is not fancy but it is quaint and by Roman standards quite adequate. It clean and has helpful front desk staff. The roof top restaurant (also where you have breakfast) is definitely a highlight,...

Amazing location literally surrounded by ruins. The wifi in the hotel was miserable and we had to keep complaining. The Air conditioner was not that cold, and one rooms AC was broken but they promptly moved us. The rooftop restaurant is wonderful and its view is great.

Dear Sirs, we thank you for the review. Really our hotel has a strategic view over the imperial Forum and Colosseum. During your stay we were changing our telephone company contract and for this reason the Wi-fi signoal wasn't strong. Now the technician finished his work and now everything is in order.
