Nothing really good to say about this hotel .Staff all seem to have an attitude problem. No safety boxes ,No resturaunt open, No do not disturb signs and as we were on honeymoon we were walked in on many a time .I have stayed at better 2 star hotels. Oh and the tea and coffee making facilities took 4 days...

Hotel Rivoli, Rome, Italy Date: 10th - 12th January 2005 Hotel Rivoli was situated in a safe residential area north of Villa Borghese, up a tight side street from main road and over looking a primary school and high school/college, so was very noisy. The rooms were decorated in very loud oriental design and the walls were padded, however the...

I read some of the negative reviews on this Hotel and was somewhat dismayed as I had already booked and paid for my stay. Perhaps that was a good thing, as it turned out to be a pleasant stay. Tea, Coffee making facilities are available for free upon request, ask at reception before heading for your room. Room was cleaned...

Nice, small hotel located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. More business-oriented than leisure-oriented. Many embassies in the nearby. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Ask for rooms on the upper floors. Third floor is the best. Close to a couple of very good restaurants. Very close to the most important Park in Rome: Villa Borghese. Visit the Museo Borghese, a lovely...

Hotel Rivoli is in a very interesting part of Rome. If you want to experience what life in Rome is like for natives, then stay here. There are good, authentic places to eat and the hotel has a good view of the residential areas from the balcony. The hotel is directly next to a junior high which is sometimes noisy....

Stayed at the Best Western Rivoli Hotel in the first week of June. Our room looked a little run-downed. Toilet didn’t work properly. Room was smaller than expected. Maid service was inconsistent and the air conditioning and fridge in room did not work. Front desk staff were not very customer oriented. Hotel is not conveniently located to major Rome attractions...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
