It was pleasant to be back to Eliseo after 3 years. A nice quiet location close to Villa Borghese park and in about 10 minutes walk from Spanish stairs. Room is good, but a little old. Bathroom is big and clean. Air-conditioner temperature is set by hotel. No a kettle in room, and I was surprised because 3 years ago...

We spent three days in Rome and planned on hardcore sightseeing, as such we looked for a good location, comfy bed, hot shower and clean bathroom. Eliseo did all of these things: location is at the top of Via Veneto (where the five star hotels are), opposite Villa Borghese and 10 mins from Spanish Steps; bed was firm, shower was...

Really liked this hotel. Ideal location, quiet area but only a short stroll to the Spanish Steps and other attractions. It was a great base. Gents at reception were extremely courteous. Decent fresh continental breakfast on the top floor with views of the city. Waitresses very polite and helpful. Rooms clean. Perhaps some minor decorative touch ups needed but find...

Location of this hotel is brilliant, about 15mins walk from Spanish steps, plenty of places to eat just round the corner. The breakfast room is on the top floor with brilliant views, but the breakfast was quite basic, only continental on offer and no facility to toast the bread. The room was very comfortable and warm, even though we were...

Stayed here for 4 nights. Room cleaned every day with fresh sheets and towels, the breakfast room on the 6th floor has lovely views and the breakfast is very good, your basic continental with pastry's also on offer, all very fresh and good quality. Nice touch that the coffee is freshly made when you arrive at breakfast and is good...

Was there in October 2016, the location is amazing it is close to the center like 15 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain. It is also just next to a metro station which you can use to go just anywhere in Rome. The staff is nice and helpful

The location of this hotel is very convenient in order to visit all the important sights of Rome. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room with a spectacular view to Rome. The rooms are are not renovated but we did not care about that as we returned to the hotel late at night. It is a good choice especially...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
