This was the first stop on my May multicity italian vacation and it set the bar for the trip. We arrived early, so our room wasnt yet ready, but we used that time to ask questions of the very helpful hotle staff and then made our way up the the fantastic rooftop terrace. We soaked in an impressive view of...

Stayed here with my husband and 7 yr old son over easter weekend. The hotel had free wifi . A really modern clean room. Comfortable beds and a great shower Lovely breakfast! Great filled croissants /pastries but hot stuff was ok! All served in a lovely rooftop restaurant/bar ( expensive drinks compared to elsewhere ) with great views of the...

We have spent a week in Marcella hotel. The rooms were clean, good breakfast buffet, helpful staff and great rooftop bar. 10 minutes walk to Spanish stairs and other places of interest. Quiet environment. Totally recommended.

Stayed at this hotel a few years ago, it was very clean and tidy. Had to ask reception to lock a door joining our room with someone elses, other than that it was fine. I dont know much of the area, but it did seem like a business area. About 20 mins from trevi fountain, staff helpful,( they lent us...

We stayed at the Marcella Royal for 1 night pre-cruise. I booked it months in advance and did a lot of research and kept checking tripadvisor for new reviews. Rome hotels are quite expensive so I was not willing to pay a huge amount for a 1 night stay, but I wanted to be close to the center too. This...

We just got back from a wonderful vacation in Italy. Out of all the hotels we stayed in, this was by far the most disappointing. Although it is conveniently located by the Termini Train Station, about a 15 min walk, which makes it easy to see most of the sights in Rome as well as has many decent restaurants located...

Modern and clean hotel with a very professional and kind staff. The rooms are generally spacious (someone recentry restructured in an excellent minimalist style, too). Certainly good the ratio quality/price. But the better thing is a wonderful roof garden where the (large) breakfast is usually served, with an open terrace having a pub and a separated smoking area: a bird...

This conveniently located and comfortable hotel was everything we had hoped for. The reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged tours and taxis for us and also marked up our map when we wished to walk to various locations. On the top floor of the hotel is a breakfast room and...

Booked by my wife as a Christmas present, we stayed on 23 May for three nights with friends. We asked about an upgraded room as we believed they were the refurbished rooms as some photos looked a bit dated. We were told that they had all gone as it was busy. However, the rooms we got were very good, spacious...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
