This was our first ever trip to Rome and the Hotel Valadier was chosen more or less at random. Serendipity ! First impressions were excellent : welcoming staff, the grace of the furnishings - certainly not part of a plastic, uniform chain. One of he best hotels we have visited. We first had a very small room but had the opportunity to change room the second night when we had a small suite. The service at the hotel is outstanding and makes the stay worth every penny.
