Back for the third time, we can happily reconfirm that this is a great choice if you want to enjoy the city being away from noise and crowd. Hotel is elegant and cozy, looks like a private house, rooms are very silent and bed comfortable with luxury bed and bath sheets. With just 10 minutes walking through the green of...

3 nights here. Excellent service & staff! Couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast good quality and plentiful & it was 7.30am to 10.00am so no need to rush. Even made us a fab breakfast to take away last morning as left at 7.00am & brought us a cup of tea whilst we waited for taxi. Room was lovely. Only thing...

I recently stayed at the Lord Byron in Rome. The hotel is in a secluded located near the Borgia Gardens. The big surprise was the restaurant. The owner told me that it had achieved Michelin two star status several years ago but he decided to forfeit the honor due to pricing. The food, ambience and service was wonderful. It was...

Where to start? We had emailed the hotel to arrange a lift from the airport, and as promised there was our driver waiting for us. The journey was about 50 minutes but it was the rush hour. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were struck but its class and elegance. Check in was quick and efficient and we...

Hotel and service was fantastic, The location is a 25 minute walk into Rome through the park. Breakfast and Dinner was great, the Hotel suits a couple on a romantic weekend break more than it would a family holiday I think. Really nice stay, thanks

The hotel is a converted mansion. The rooms are modern and hi tech. It looks like you are in a ship. The location is far from tourist attractions, daily cost with Taxi around 50 to 80 EUR for two back and forth trips to the city. The breakfast room is in the basement with no windows. Alltogether it is suitable...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
