I had the pleasure of staying at the Regina Hotel twice in the month of October. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large, in perfect working order, large marble bathrooms, excellent breakfast, very good internet service, and the staff, even though they're formal, they are extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was great. We liked that it wasn't on...

Liked the hotel very much. Rooms were adequate as far as European size is concerned. Television included an Italian/English conversion on several channels. Breakfast each morning was well done with a nice variety of choices. Since Rome is such a large city, it was necessary to sometimes use a taxi to get from location to location.

I've stayed in many 5 star Hotels and this one is right up there with the best. My wife and I prefer boutique style hotels over the large grand Hotels which we find impersonal. Hotel Baglioni reminds me of the Grand Hotel in Cap Feret, France or the St James in Montreal. We were deciding between this hotel and the...

We stayed here for four days in junior suite Room 307, which was spacious, quiet and very well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. The hotel used to be the residence of Queen Margherita of Savoy, while she awaited the completion of her residence, “Villa Margherita”, situated on the other side of the Via...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
