Beautiful windows that open all the way to let in the fresh air. The lobby was very nice and the staff was friendly. There is music and piano in the lobby. Bartender gave us our first taste of Grappa. We used Marriott Rewards points and had no issues.

Although initially disappointed with my room as a Marriott Platinum Member, the hotel manager upgraded me to a junior suite after I complained regarding the room quality. Throughout my stay, the staff acted graciously and provided helpful advice about the city.

Excellent location next to the Bourghese Garden and an over the top incredible rooftop breakfast with a view of the Vatican. Great location with access to shuttles for everything you would want to do in Rome and short walk to the train station.

My 75-year-old mother and I had a wonderful stay, thanks to the perfect staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable. The reception staff arranged for us to have a personal driver for two days, who turned out to be much more than a driver, but also a tour guide who took us to every sight in...

My daughter and I used Marriott points for a four night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although we were on points, we were given a deluxe room, on a high floor, with a nice view. There was no lounge so my gold status got us complementary breakfast in the hotel restaurant each morning and a complimentary bottle of...

Ending our 2-week trip in Italy, we wanted to use Marriott points and be in a great location in Rome. The location is very good but unfortunately the advice and expertise of the concierge (2 of the men) made the experience sub-par for what one would expect. They were rude and condescending especially to women. Yes, there are plenty of...

We stayed at this hotel in Dec 2013. The location is great - we could see the Aurelian wall and Borghese garden from our room. The breakfast buffet is good and the staff friendly. And yeah - you can see the vatican from the roof near the breakfast buffet...

The hotel is wonderfully situated with easy access to all of the places you would want to see in Rome. The staff is very courteous and attentive. There is a grocery store across the street under ground to buy all the essentials and awesome (inexpensive) wine! We walked everywhere but the train station is across the street too!

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
