This hotel is part of a US-based chain with a global footprint that is known for dependable good value. The Artdeco is conveniently located near the main train station with easy access to trains, Metro and city buses. The staff are exceptionally helpful and eager to make your stay the best possible. They made restaurant and taxi reservations and helped guide our routes on public transport. The standard room was small but comfortable. AC/heating was fine and quiet. The TV is small and had no English language channels but the free Internet was suitable for streaming and if you bring an HDMI cable to connect your smartphone or tablet, you can watch anything you can stream. There are good restaurants within walking distance in the nearby neighborhood. To get to main tourist areas is either a 30 minute walk or a 5-10 minute walk to the Metro.

I've stayed in the hotel a few times. I picked it mainly for its location which is about 10 minutes walk from Termini (or a 4 minute walk to Castro Pretorio). The rooms I've stayed in are a little bit tired, but they contained everything I needed. Breakfast was an additional charge, I only sampled this once as I didn't think the breakfast was worth the additional charge. The staff are the best thing about the hotel, they have been excellent whenever I've stayed.

This is a very well-located hotel not far from the main train station—about a 7 minute walk. It is well-maintained with good sized rooms for Italy. I stayed here 17 nights in March 2022. Everything in the room worked well. The bathroom was a little small but normal again for European standards. It had a very good shower and bathtub combination and the bathtub had jets built into it.
The included breakfast with my rate plan was very good and included scrambled eggs, ham and cheese, toast, a good selection of pastries, coffee, and juices. The breakfast service staff was excellent.
The front desk staff was excellent and very helpful. All of the employees seemed to be multi lingual. It was very convenient for Uber rides. It was also easy to walk to a variety of tourist locations in the area. Maid service was excellent and the room was cleaned daily.
The room had a smaller flat screen television with Italian channels. There were two beds in the room that could be combined to make a king size bed. The beds were firm but very comfortable. There are two small elevators for the four floors and a sitting room on the first floor. The Wi-Fi worked quite well and I had no trouble streaming things with it. There are a large number of restaurants within very easy walking distance, some about one minute.
I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I flew in from Malta and stayed for one night on October 13-14, 2024. Looking for a hotel in the center, close to Termini Station and the metro to get to tourist places without much trouble. From the train station, where we arrived by shuttle bus from the airport, to the hotel 10 minutes on foot, another subway station to the Colosseum is even closer. The area is very pleasant, there are many embassies in the area, even our RF meters in the 200s. Artist Nikas Safronov was checking in with us! The staff at the reception were pleasant, communicating in English. They didn't wait till 14:00 to check in, left their things and went for a walk. Back in the evening, the room went to the family room, with an extra two beds that we didn't need, but someone could use it. New and clean bathroom with good shower and towels. We were in October, the weather was wonderful 25 to 26 degrees, we didn't need air conditioning. The room was on the ground floor, the windows to the yard, but we got back late and the next day we didn't stay in the room either, so the view didn't matter to us. The hotel is converted from an apartment building, so the layout is not typical hotel. Breakfast was well very pleasant, beautifully served in the cozy small hall, eggs, cheeses, sausages, fruit-vegetables, pastries - all were delicious. Servings can generally be rated excellent. The price in my opinion was a little overpriced, probably because it was the season, now I see a more adequate cost on the site. Overall, we enjoyed it, we'd like to thank the staff for having a nice time, and we hope to return for a longer stay if we get to Rome.

I was a guest at this hotel following a business trip. The location, a few steps from Termini station, is rather vintage, but well maintained and a witness to "ancient glories". My room, not excellent in size, was clean (daily room cleaning service), with a modernized bathroom equipped with well-made linen, hairdryer, large shower and liquid soap dispensers. The only flaw is the welcome kit, which lacks toothbrush and toothpaste and disposable slippers (a four-star hotel should take care of these details). The bed, placed against a wall, had a comfortable mattress, two pillows of different consistencies and scented, well-made linen. The furniture was rather dated (the wooden door of the minibar had a loose hinge which did not allow it to be closed) but overall functional and made the room welcoming. Negative note for the fixtures, unfortunately they did not guarantee complete soundproofing of the rooms.
