We stayed in this hotel from Holy Thursday and departed on Easter Sunday. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. The weather was brilliant & there was something special about being in Rome for Easter. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the metro red line, 2 mins walk to metro, 10 mins walk to the...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days just for the Rome Marathon. This hotel is very close to the train station (Manzoni), it is actually downstairs about a min walk. Foods, pizzeria, spaghetti and gelato are easy to be found downstairs. Receptionists at that time were ok. Room is spacious ( can be seen from our pics), comfortable bed...

We had a great time in this hotel, and have no complaints. We fortunately were on the higher floors and had the interior garden as a view, which I think is perfect (a lower room facing the street might be quite noisy). The room was super clean and nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super...

I was in a single/double room 402 on the 4th floor at the back. The main bedroom window was broken, I did see other windows being replaced by workmen, but within my room, there was no safety attachments. My room had a double bed in, but for 2 people it would have been a tight squeeze some would say too...

Booked this having never been to Rome and wanted a hotel not too far from the centre. We thought the hotel was great. The bedroom and bathroom were well decorated and comfortable. The bed and pillows were really comfy and reminded me of home! We slept really well and had a room facing the inner courtyard so no noise at...

Hotel is good, the room is a good sized one. Nothing really memorable or luxurious but it is a good choice. No complaints, maybe just that their reception answers without checking.I was expecting a voucher in may mail but was told there's none and that my check out is completed, I told him I was told that my voucher will...

The bed was not great but the room was fairly nice. The breakfast was big with plenty of variety. The front desk was helpful and the location was great. The metro is literally right outside the hotel which makes it super convenient to get anywhere as well as the train station. Plus it is close to the coliseum - just...

Great hotel, with big rooms at absolutely reasonable price. Breakfast ok, but very sweet with cookies, sugarcoated buns and lots of jam.You could order (free) other coffee if you wanted something else than the machine in the breakfastroom. They made absolutely great cappuccino! Lovely service in both restaurant and bar (wonderful bartender working around the clock?), with small dishes and...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel because I remembered it from a previous visit and was very pleased with the rooms and the buffet. I was not disappointed this time either. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
