We had a fantastic 4 day stay at Albergo on the last leg of a 5 week trip. It was a great central location to walk everywhere. The reception staff are all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was great. The rooms are lovely and clean. We left our bags on last day and came back at 6pm...

Dear AJR_FAMIL, It’s a pleasure to read your kind review. Our great position is just in the centre of Rome, not far away from the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, shopping street as Via del Corso – Via Condotti – Via Frattina, Palazzo Cipolla that in this moment hosts the exhibition “Andy Warhol”, Spanish Steps and the park of Villa Borghese....

This hotel is a little gem. Located right in the heart of Rome, it is central to every site. My room was a delightful surprise- a sitting room and gorgeously decorated. It was clean and the roof top terrace is a special place for a well deserved drink after a big day sightseeing. As a single I felt completely safe...

We spent a week in Rome during August of 2014 and spent a week at Albergo Cesari. The hotel was more than adequate. Every member of the staff from the front desk personnel, the bar attendants, the cleaning staff were attentive, polite and caring. This was an excellent experience! The room was clean and for August in Rome the A/C...

They were very helpful at the reception desk and nothing was too much trouble. The location was fantastic ! We could walk everywhere we needed to go to. It was a great end to our trip...

Our family stayed here for four nights in a large family room and had a delightful experience. First, if you are looking for a fancy five-star hotel, this is not your place and you are not going to find a hotel like that in the Pantheon area. However, if you want a charming, clean, exceptionally well-run, perfectly located hotel with...

Dear Globaltree, Many thanks for your beautiful review: you have well described our strenghts !!! As you wrote, the Hotel Cesàri is a historic building (built in 1787!) therefore must maintain the structure of the time, however the family rooms are very large; also the other roomtypes are comfortable and spacious. The hotel offers the right balance between history and...

I can't rate this hotel highly enough. I read other TA reviews before booking and looked around to find the best deal and availability. Albergo Cesari were exceptionally helpful from the very start. I had booked a standard room initially as this was the only type of room available on the site I used to book, but as soon as...

Dear Erik S, We are very happy you loved your 3 nights stay with us. The 3 stars Albergo Cesàri is hosted in an historical building, just in the heart of Rome near Piazza Colonna, with its marble Column of Marcus Aurelius and next to the Church of Saint Ignazio with its beautiful ceiling. We arrived in the evening and used the chauffeur airport pick up service arranged by the hotel, which I would highly recommend. We stayed 6 nights in a twin room, which was very clean and comfortable, rooms are small but that is standard in Rome. There was still plenty of room for two females sharing. Complimentary Wi-Fi in the room...

We have stayed at Albergo Cesari three times, and would never consider another option. The location is perfect, the staff is knowledgable and friendly, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We have had "standard" rooms, so don't know what the upscale rooms are like. The standard rooms are not luxurious, but quite clean and comfortable. Bathroom fixtures, for example,...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
