We returned to the St. Regis for our one night in Rome based on our prior stay in 2011 and we were even happier this time around! The hotel has made some nice updates to the lobby and lounge and made their check-in process world class. We were warmly greeted and all of our needs were attended to from the...

This hotel is located inside historical building with short distance to central station. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and quiet with excellent services. The main entrance to hotel is like walking into the museum with beautiful stairs and nice piece of arts on ceiling. Currently hotel is going under renovation, but you...

The good hotel walking distance from Railway station (Termini) - 7-10 min Its a nice 5-star hotel wit a beautiful lobby , its located in the historical building. The furniture is quite antique and not new but that's exactly the hotel style.

This was our second visit to this stunning hotel and as I would expect, standards have been maintained at the highest level. The new lobby area dominated by a Murano Glass Chandelier is impressive and I look forward to the room upgrades when complete. Service is the one area that stands out most where management and staff operate seamlessly to...

We stayed here for two nights. For those of you worried about construction, don't be. It was barely noticeable and from what we could see, only in the lobby. No loud jack hammering, just some simple construction. It would be silly to cancel your plans to stay here over this as it was so minimal and not distracting at all....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
