Small hotel, one floor of rooms. The showers are absolutely TINY! Good location to the Vatican City. Metro is within walking distance and lots of pizzerias/gelato. Breakfast was mediocre, fruit and pastries. It does have a nice espresso machine.

The perfect place to fall in love........romantic, private, quiet, clean and spacious. The staff is friendly, welcoming, accommodating and pays close attention to detail. Greatly appreciated when so far from home.

Small, unassuming, boutique hotel literally 5 blocks from the Vatican. You can't beat the location. The hotel is on a busy residential street and shares the building with an apartment complex but there were no issues sharing the single entrance. We had a spacious superior room that was great when you had to open up your luggage! We had a...

I should start by saying this (NOT NEGATIVE) -- if you are looking for luxury or fancy, this is not the hotel for you. If you seek a place to rest your head and convenience in location to the Vatican and shopping then YES, book it!! The front desk people here are fantastic. Our luggage was lost on connecting flights...

We arrived late at night (1h30) and truth is this 24h reception was very practical. The place is ok but is no gem. Room was clean but needs little painting to cover some marks. Biggest issue for us was the fact that the high window's curtains would not close properly, letting light enter in the morning and preventing us from...

Infinity Hotel St. Peter is a decent choice to stay in Rome. It's 10 minutes away from a metro station (walking) and very close to the Vatican. There are some fantastic restaurants too - I highly recommend Ristorante Joseph. Haven't seen a single tourist there, yet the restaurant was packed with locals! The hotel breakfasts are ok. Service is great...

We arrived early and we were dealt with quickly by reception. The hotel is very close to the Vatican, 5 minutes walk. As for outside its a typical city centre hotel. The first room we were given was too small, more of a single room. Spoke to reception who were happy to give us a bigger room. The room was...

This hotel had such high ratings that we were not even hesitant to book it. When we arrived, the location was great. A literal 5 minute walk to the Vatican and local fare all around. It was near taxi stands, buses, etc. Well that was the only plus. We walked into our room and I wanted to immediately leave. The...

Dear Rickey, We are sorry you did not like the stay. Breakfast is not what you say, has fresh pastry every day (croissants, crostata and donut) and several sliced. Also yogurt, jam, crackers, biscuits, fresh bread .... sorry to contradict you but it's not at all like you say. The city tax that you paid at the check out is...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
