My wife and I spent a short time in Rome from 3rd August. Having been before some 6 years ago we were looking forward to seeing some familiar sights once again. Our tour operator (Broadway travel N) had us booked into the ESH outside Rome. Once booked and fully paid up ( not cheap for a 4 night stay) I...

The hotel is quite a trek out of Rome, not central at all. The metro line is a fifteen minute walk from the hotel, we chose to buy a 3 day pass which cost €18 each - it would have cost less to buy tickets as we needed them, but at least we didn't need to think about getting tickets...

The hotel used to be some sort of catholic convent, so it has a particular charm we really liked. It's located within a mile or two from the Vatican, great public transport access, helpful staff, great lobby bar, and very comfortable overall.

The facade of the hotel looks nice so you would expect the service to be much better when there is a mechanical problem. Our Air Conditioning in our room did not function at all and they said there wasn't anyone available to fix it. Instead of moving us to another room, they suggested that we sleep with the windows open....

Lovely modern style hotel, the nicest we have stayed in whilst visiting Italy, the bedrooms are large with safes and a refrigerator the bed although slightly hard was clean and fresh, the air conditioning was useless to be honest! And defiantly needs sorting out, as does the tv all British shows and programmes but all dubbed in Italian! One news...

My partner and I recently stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Overall we found the hotel to be comfortable and good value however it was farther out of central Rome than we imagined and not in the most desirable part of the city. Strengths; modern hotel clean and comfy room and throughout; excellent air con; good restaurant and bar...

Great hotel in a good location the bus stop is right outside and there and it is only a 10 minute walk into a small town. Breakfast was good and not busy at 10am... Ac in rooms was ok but we found opening the window and closing the curtain at night was fine.

The hotel has decent sized rooms, beds are two singles pushed together and fairly firm matress. There was a tv, hairdryer and slow Internet conection though there was a lot of people using the conection with laptops ect so to be expected. There were a lot of toiletries suplied, shampoo, shower gel, cotton buds and face pads and a shoe...

The hotel itself is pretty good, bit out of the way but certainly first impressions good, room was very good, although beds not that comfortable, two single beds pushed together, my biggest gripe is air con and Internet. Internet works but is very slow, the air con is frustrating. We just come back and temps in mid nineties. Air con...

Me and a friend stayed here as the second part to our trip to Italy, package deal booked through Viva Holidays. The hotel was lovely, really nice interior, helpful staff who gave us information about buses, the Metro and gave us a map (which ended up being a life saver). Our room was on the corner of the hotel so...
