My friend and I had a three night stay last week. Very clean hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. Felt the area was rough and run down and didn't feel safe walking to and from the Metro but that's just my opinion. Great breakfast choices with something for everyone. The best thing about this hotel is Gianluca on reception, what...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of February as a base for visiting Rome. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the airport - I would recommend booking a private transfer before travelling which works out around €45 each way. The hotel is based outside of the main city - about a 30-40 minute walk...

Stayed here February. All staff so friendly and helpful.. great rooms, huge, our bathroom was also big, great shower.. food good in restaurant but a little expensive... worth it, but could do with a lower budget choice? The staff couldn't be more helpful.. booked online transfers which weren't out of area as some reviews state. Bus into Rome virtually outside...

We stayed for 4 nights in February. The hotel room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Toiletries were lovely and were replenished every day. The breakfast was really good - the best I've had in any Rome hotel; lovely fresh fruit, cereals, bread, pastries, eggs. The only disappointment was the coffee - a Nescafe machine in Italy? I...

Occidental Aurelia formerly ESH (executive style hotel) Hotel is excellent well managed and friendly staff. Stayed 4 nights and had no issues, room comfortable and cleaned daily. Brilliant breakfast with plenty of options for guests to choose from. Evening restaurant menu good, all restaurants are on the top floor of the hotel. Hotel is good value for the facilities provided....

Short break to Rome and we chose this hotel. It's not in the centre but anywhere you chose you will have to travel to some of the places of interest. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room we had was very nice, big ceilings and very warm. The breakfasts are excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel itself is...

The good parts: Clean room, comfy bed, access to public transport, good value & friendly staff. Not as good: Bar shuts early (for thirsty Rugby fans) and the scrambled eggs at breakfast were not that appetising, and the waiters kept on clearing your table too early. Should you stay here? Yes - its a good value base to explore Rome,...

Hotel is really good. Has nice location and is near the station Cornelia where you can take underground metro for anywhere in Rome! Reception speaks English and was very polite. They help for any questions. Great breakfast and lovely coffee!! Room very modern and clean with nice view of trees and garden. Nice choice to relax.

Just returned last week after 3 days in room. ESH hotel is clean and friendly ideal as a Base , short walk from metro so easy to get into the city brilliant transport and bus stop just opposite. BREAKFAST is not appealing but ok for tea and toast. We were made to feel very welcome by Zahid the bar man...

Worst accomodation ever. It was winter and was warmer outside than in. No heating in the rooms. I was on a tour of 43. We all froze the first nite. Only a sheet and one blanket to keep u warm. Went to get a drink before dinner and was told that the bar was closed. One of our tour was...
