Perfect location! Wifi did not work. If you decide to stay here think of it as Airbnb. If you need any kind of help you 'll need to go to the restaurant downstairs. However they are busy working and they seemed annoyed to help you. We had a bed and a pull out bed. The pull out bed was blocking... More

I have passed 3 nights in this Hotel. Level of hygiene and room service is excellet. Apart from the usual daily necessities, the room is also equipped with a free safe to use, bed slippers and a first aid box. The hair dryer is very good. One can actually style the hair and not just dry. The location of the... More

Location was the best you can ask for, room was clean and tidy with everything you needed was in, breakfast was very basic or not worth having, the only good thing was that one of the employees was American and was very helpful. The rooms have paper thin walls and you could hear everything going on in other rooms, also... More

Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Location so central, few steps away from Spanish steps, 5 minutes stroll from Fontana de Trevi, less than 10 mins from Pantheon. Colosseum and Vatican within 20 mins stroll. Our room for 3 people was super. Spacious with large windows, cleaned daily with top ups of fruit juices, water and coffee pods. Breakfast was late... We stayed here for 3 nights end of March 2016 and the location was perfect for walking everywhere. Spanish Steps were literally just round the corner with the Vatican about 40 minute brisk walk but you can get a bus if needed. The hotel itself was very nice, room was fairly large and was cleaned everyday with the fridge with... More

The accommodations were exactly as specified. Checkin was a bit strange, having to enter the restaurant next door (where you also go for a basic continental breakfast). But all was great once in our room which faced the street. Beautiful modern bathroom and a spacious bedroom. It is so central that we walked to everywhere even Vatican City! Restaurants galore and... I have mixed feelings about this accommodation. First the positives. Our room was more like a spacious apartment. Very large with impressive marble floors and lovely furniture throughout. The bathroom was modern and there was even a little kitchenette (which we didn't use). More than enough storage space and complimentary water and juice. We didn't have a view - just... More

The room was much better than in pictures, two large bathrooms and large bedrooms. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was worse than usual but was sufficient. Sights were short distances from the hotel.

If location matters to you, stay there! If you are looking for a kind-of-apartment rather than a full-serviced hotel, stay there. If you are an independent traveler, that's the place to be in a very special location. In my regards, it works as an apartment (a guest-suite). Since we were three, we stayed in the penthouse. I agree with a... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
