Very clean and the most pleasant staff. The breakfast that is served was delicious and affordable at 9.50 Euro. Room service comes in and takes the garbage out and makes your bed every day. They are “Green”, so if you don’t need your fresh towels every day just leave them hanging up on the hooks. I felt safe and secure and had no worries whatsoever. There is a brand new laundromat about seven minutes away - very convenient! Two blocks away was bus #71 that takes you to the Termini Station, which will get you access to the Metro, additional buses, and the trains. I would also recommend buying a 48 hour pass that gives you access to all city buses and the Metro for that duration. There is also a 24 hour pass available if you’re staying for a shorter time. Individual rides are 1.70 Euro each and last for 90 minutes. Best hotel that I stayed at during my trip to Italy!

This place is so clean! One of the best services ever.
They always come into you room to clean everyday and change your towels or bedspread based on your request. All you gotta do is put your towel on the floor if you want them to be changed. They also offer good breakfast for cheap prices and there are small stores around too where you can grab a quick bite if you wish to. The people are very polite and the fee is worth every penny I paid.

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 days. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. It is a bit out of the way from the centre, I think it was about 30mins walk from most attractions, but there was a bus and tram really close by which was really helpful and cheap. I have seen some reviews say about the noise due to being close to roads. Yes it can get a little bit loud but it wasn't unbearable, although we weren't in a room right near the tram line. We could however hear people right outside our window quite loudly as we were on the ground floor.

I really want to rate this place higher than 3 stars because the room was nice and the bed was super comfy. However it was not clear to us when the cleaners were due to come as your meant to leave your towels on the floor to be cleaned which we did on our second day and nobody came to clean them so we put them back on the hook as they were just wet and dirty on the floor but then every day after that the cleaners came so it was a bit unclear to us. The only real sign of the cleaners coming in was that the bed was made properly. We ran out of toilet paper on the third day and not once did the cleaner give us any more. I had to go and ask for more at reception. We also thought the shower head was in a weird position. It faced the glass and we thought it would have been much better being along side the glass as would have allowed much more room to move in the shower.

The room also has a Smart TV with Sky but we could not use this due to the remote having no batteries. We informed staff of this on the first day and they said they'd fix it. We left to explore for the day, came back and it was still not fixed so we took the remote to reception and asked if they could fix it. It needed a screw driver which they apparently didn't have so they said they'd fix it in the next day and we left the remote with them. The next day we came back to see our remote had returned but it was still not fixed. It was to the point where we were ready to just go and buy our own batteries and screw driver to fix this but we thought why should we? This should have been sorted by them pretty quickly. Baring in mind it was boiling hot outside for 2 of the days so we spent quite a few hours in our room in the afternoon to keep cool and would have really appreciated a TV during this time.

We also ordered breakfast (Open 7-10) with our stay which was pretty good. It had a variety of hot food, cereals, pastries, fruit and yoghurts. The dining room was also nice although can get quite busy around 9:30 but they do have seats elsewhere that you can sit at. There is also a few things you can buy near reception like snacks and drinks.

Overall the hotel was really nice, it was just the service from staff that let it down (Not restocking things in the room and not fixing the TV remote). Apart from this we would recommend it, although next time we would probably look for something a bit closer to the centre of Rome.

We are very satisfied with our stay at this B&B! The location is ideal for visiting Rome: although located outside the city center, it is easily and quickly accessible thanks to many bus lines that serve the area. This allows you to enjoy the calm while having direct access to the main attractions. Moreover, it is close to Termini station and only about thirty minutes from the airports. The staff is welcoming and very friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. The room is well equipped and the bedding very comfortable. As for the breakfast buffet, it is complete and hearty, perfect for a good start to the day. If we have the opportunity to return to Rome, we will choose this hotel again without hesitation!

I stayed from check-in on October 8, 2022 to check-out on October 11, 2023. The room was beautiful and well-cleaned. The breakfast was good in terms of food content and taste. The up pie was delicious. The location is also convenient, as there are many young people around, as the University of Rome is nearby, and there are cheap and delicious pizza shops, restaurants, and Carrefour. I was happy to stay at a nice hotel in Rome.

Very Clean, staff were so helpful especially Laura on the front desk. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Good location not far from the centre - taxi to Trevor fountain or Spanish steps is only €15-20 or a 40 min walk.

Would definitely stay here again!

Great value for money hotel. Here you will find what is essential in a structure and that is essentially the cleanliness, both of the premises and of the bed linen and towels, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as a sweet and savory breakfast. Appreciable attention to environmental problems. Area perhaps a bit sadzuola, compensated, however, by excellent public transport to the center and the presence of all kinds of clubs. Thanks again to the guys at the reception and a goodbye since we will definitely return.

The hotel is charming, clean, new and conveniently located. Just a short distance from the Roma Termini Train Station. Bus line 71 takes you to the hotel. Bus line 19 NAV, around the corner from the hotel, takes you downtown to the touristic attractions such as La Fontana di Trevi, The Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, etc. which will save you money on transportation and time. Some good advice is that you always, always pay AND validate your bus ticket. Fines for not having a validated ticket are high. Bus tickets are bought at Tabaccheries or by tapping your phone on the bus (I don't recommend the last one as tap machines don't work most of the time).
The hotel staff is helpful and welcoming. The San Lorenzo neighborhood is away from all the tourist hustle and is surrounded by restaurants, coffee places and businesses. It really is an excellent hotel choice. I really recommend it for a family or business stay in Rome.

Location was great, 30 seconds from a tram/bus stop that serviced many of the main attractions, plus lots of lovely little restaurants and snack bars within a 2-5 minute walk (see pics).
There is a supermarket 3 mins down the street, and pharmacy a little further down on the left, opposite a beautiful Church (see pic for idea of location). Pharmacy closed on Sundays, be aware.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely brilliant! Very welcoming and helpful, always had a smile on their face when they saw you.
The room was cosy, and the double bed was extremely comfy!! I want one!

The breakfast was surprisingly varied too! I had croissants, scrambled egg on toast, muffins, yoghurts etc (picture included). and the young lad who attended the breakfast area was again very friendly and a compliment to the hotel.

Extremely good value for money. I loved our stay at Hotel Roma San Lorenzo Termini - it was charming. The area looks rough (graffiti everywhere) but don't be fooled, it is a lovely and safe place to walk around at night and far enough away from tourist-populated areas to give you that authentic Italian experience.

I really miss it already, having been back in Liverpool for a few days now :(
