After a long flight from Australia it was so lovely to be greeted by the delightful and informative team at A Peace of Rome. We had chosen A Peace of Rome from the Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. All the recomendations for eating were excellent, all their tips about getting around Rome were helpful and we would...

We are a couple in our sixties and chose "A Peace of Rome" because of very positive reviews on Tripadvisor. We had expected the convenience of its location and the pleasantness of its proprietors, but were delighted to find how much more it offered: unstinting help provided for every question or difficulty, thoughtfulness in the facilities provided in the room...

Last stop on our Italian adventure. Came in by train from Chiusi (90 minutes) and took a cab to the hotel (16E for 4 with bags). Go in the big door and you are in a courtyard and then up one flight ( or use the small elevator) to the section where the Hotel is housed. Quite small but certainly...

We stayed at this B&B after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor - we were not dissapointed and found the staff at A Peace of Rome, pleasant and easy to deal with from our very first enquiry by email to the end of our stay! The B&B is situated on a lovely street very near the Vatican, there are plenty...

I travelled with my mother to Paris, Rome, Florence and Venice and our bed & breakfast in Rome - A PEACE OF ROME - was hands down the best place to stay. Not only was it clean and a wonderful place to come home to but the hospitality was endless. Simona couldn't help us out more with anything we needed...

We stayed at A Peace of Rome in August with our two kids, and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Our room was large and modern, the location was good and quiet, and most of all, our hosts were outstanding. Daniele & Livio went out of their way to get us oriented and make us feel at home. While...

Surprised by the negative review. We've just returned from a 3 night stay at A Peace of Rome and found it a haven of peace after a day in the city. It's in an ideal location - a pleasant residential/shopping area which is close to the Vatican (we easily got to both St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums before...

We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon. On the one hand, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; the room was clean and well presented (if a bit small); the breakfast in the nearby cafe was good and the location is great if you want to be close to the Vatican. However we were disappointed it didn't live...

Dear Sir, firstly THANK YOU for choosing to stay with us and for your feedback. I'm pleased that you liked your room and our friendly staff. I'm very sorry that you didn't sleep well, regarding the air conditioning, we believe it is usually a very effective and quiet system ( all our guests provided all positive comments concerning our modern...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
