My daughter and I stayed 1 night (July 12) as we were traveling throughout Italy in a week. The directions we were given to get from the airport to Le Finestre di Luz, were excellent. We found it easily. When we first walked into the courtyard, it was breathtaking. We didn't know to walk around to the left and knock... More

This B&B is excellent value. It is a bit quirky but clean and comfortable. They only have 4 rooms and one man who manages the place. It is quiet and secluded. You enter from the via Crescenzio (a busy tree-lined street) through a pair of massive wooden doors through an entrance "hall" into a rear courtyard. Cross the courtyard (possible... More

We had a great time here. Alessandro was there whenever we needed something and was always a joy to work with. We felt really safe here and very comfortable. Eclectic and wonderful! We stayed in many B and B's and this one was the most personal!

4 rooms -have stayed on a couple of occasions in 2. A bit different - not 4 star but quiet and private off a private courtyard behind large wooden street doors. Friendly and helpful chap currently managing. Excellent location in good area -Prati -adjacent to the Vatican. Many places to eat in surrounding streets.

This was a great location for us to explore Rome. Fabrizo (Bibbi) was very helpful with suggestions on where to eat and how to get around. There were a few good Rome touring books in our room which were very helpful. The bus stop wasn't far away, not that we used the bus much because we walked most places, everything... More

This place is in an ideal position in Rome. In a residential, quiet and elegant area. The area and bedrooms are so quiet I managed to have a couple of long sleep ins and it all felt very safe. If you don't want to go too far for a meal there is an excellent selection a stone-throw away. Have coffee... More

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I actually cut my stay in Naples Italy short just so I could return to Rome and stay there again. The BandB was hosted by a lovely couple named Fabrizio and Barbara. They were both so kind and generous and met any and all of my requests. When I checked out... More

Le Finestre di Luz is a super cute and quiet place to stay in Rome. We enjoyed it a lot. The location (right behind Castel Sant'Angelo) is perfect, it is near to a metro station and one can easily reach many sights just by walking. The room was comfy and nicely done up. Our highlight was the installed lamp in... More

Great little B&B right in the centre of Rome, within walking distance to all the attractions you are likely to want to see, the closest being the Vatican which is 10 mins walk. Very helpful host who did excellent breakfasts, served in the courtyard. Set back from the main road, so although it might look like it's on a busy... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
