We returned yesterday from a 4 night stay and I can't praise the apartment enough and Louisa (the owner) was fantastic, she visited every day and really looked after us there was even food and two bottles of beer when we arrived. If you're planning on visiting Rome I can't recommend this place highly enough and it's central for all...

I have stayed here 3 times in 4 years and never plan to stay anywhere else when in Rome. It is absolutely perfect in every way. The owner Luisa lives nearby and will attend to your every need. You will love the apartment and more importantly love Luisa.

We stayed here for 4 nights (3 couples). The apartment is quite large 3 double bedrooms and a twin room, a small living area, kitchen and a wonderful patio. As Rome was 37 degrees we spent several evenings on the patio. Luisa was very easy to deal with and always responded to queries quickly. Luisa organised an airport pickup, assisted...

The apartment was in a great location with a view of S Giovanni in Laterano and close to tram, bus and metro stops. The apartment was well furnished and everyone had a comfortable stay Luisa was a star, arranging transfers from Fiumicino and always available with advice and assistance. All in all a lovely stay in the eternal city.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
