IQ is a hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna. We believe in tailor-made hospitality, so there are vending machines in virtually every floor, where you can buy yourself a bottle of wine, a pack of crisps, a tooth-brush or even an umbrella (not that you'll need it often!), All at very competitive prices. Now that you've found us... Welcome to a whole new hotel experience! IQ STAFF

You will not find a better hotel in Rome - the staff was amazing, the breakfast was 'wow', the room was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient. The spa/massage next door was a plus. We took the cooking class offered by the hotel and had fun creating our pasta - better yet, enjoying what we prepared with a fine glass of wine - a must do! Last but not least, a special thanks to Doreen & Fabiana (at the front desk ) for assisting us in so many ways. Without these two ladies - our visit would have been ruined. Right from the get go, after learning that Delta lost our luggage, they took charge. We arrived Saturday morning and after their research, we had to return to the airport on Sunday evening to retrieve our bags for our 11 day cruise the next morning. These two ladies went above & beyond to assist us. Trust me, you'll love this hotel and staff too. Don't forget the dining/bar on the rooftop - we had two drinks and once again, the service was impeccable.

Excellent hotel within walking distance of Rome's Termini station. Great for day trips by train and organized bus tours departing from Termini. About a 20-minute walk to major sites such as the Trevi Fountain. One block from Via Nazionale with many shops.
Clean rooms, great working AC, comfortable beds, mini-safe, ample closet space, and daily restocking of free drinks and snacks. On-site self-service laundry came in very handy during our 2-week stay in August-September. [Tokens are 5 Euro and the machines automatically dispense detergent and softener so no need to buy separately.]
Staff is very responsive and friendly.
Breakfast buffet is excellent [12 Euro per person] and so is the independent rooftop restaurant, La Fata Ignorante. There are many more good restaurants in the neighborhood and a small but excellently stocked supermarket (Carrefour Express) and a pharmacy around the corner.

The Hotel IQ is very well located in Rome, in a region with several restaurants, pizzerias, and yet a Carrefour express very close, home want to buy something and leave in the room.. It has a very good restaurant tbm with beautiful views of the city, we went 01 time and we loved the food, worth seeing. The room is spacious, plenty of space for luggage, spacious bathroom with 02 shower options, good cleaning. There is a refrigerator in the rooms with free consumption where they refuel daily with water, water with gas, juices and tbm has coffee machine and teas and cookies as a compliment. Now speaking of the TOP of this hotel is the breakfast: complete, fruits, yogurts, fresh breads, cakes, salmon and even for the most daring whole rice, vegetables, lingus, really a breakfast as they say... gluten-free and lactose-free options on the menu... The hotel offers easy access to get around by taxi or Uber, stop at the door, and when calling, we never wait more than 05 minutes. We stayed on the 1st floor, room 122, facing the Theatre Square, we loved the room and for sure, this is our choice on a next visit to Rome.

We enjoyed our time to the fullest at iQ Hotel Roma. The hotel has all the needed facilities: self-service washing and drying machines (5 Euro per usage) and automatic vending machines. The hotel also offers a free in-room mini-bar with generous amounts of juices, coffee, water, fruit mix, and biscuits. Moreover, you can buy bus tickets or order airport transfer services at very competitive prices with cash with the help of the receptionist team. The overall ambience is also very nice with a small garden right at the centre of the hotel.

IQ Hotel Roma is a very modern, nicely appointed hotel with adequate sized rooms, considering typical European hotel room sizes. The assorted compljmentary snacks, water and other drinks is a nice touch that many hotels in the States don't offer. The breakfast was a great value in the restaurant with many delicious options including a cappuccino and machiato machine. The ladies that work in the restaurant were very pleasant and welcoming. The only downside was the bed which was too firm for me.
If you have mobility issues, ask for a room with a shower and not the shower tub combo as the tub is high. If your are a light sleeper, ask for a courtyard room.

We had two small rooms here for 5 nights for a family of 4 (kids age 10 and 12). The rooms are small, but that is the case everywhere in Rome. The staff was so nice and put us right next to one another. The hotel location is great. There are many places that are easily walkable, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, lots of restaurants, and shops. The hotel has a breakfast buffet every morning. It is 12 euros per person and has lots of options. We ate there every morning. There is a rooftop area with relaxation area and a hot tub. The hot tub was key for us as it was HOT outside during the day and it wasn't heated so kids were able to cool down in the water and play while we enjoyed wine on the patio. There is laundry machines which was so nice as we were headed to two more places so we were able to easily wash and dry everything before we left. The staff was very helpful and professional. They will call you a cab, help with directions, anything you need. We ate at the restaurant upstairs one night which was delightful. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel in Rome- especially if you are traveling with kids.

Everything was excellent. This is a modern hotel and the rooms have high quality fittings, including a fridge that is well stocked with FREE drinks. There are also free snacks and a kettle etc. to make hot drinks. Our room faced a narrow street, but there was very little noise. Very friendly staff. Only 10 mins walking from Termini

Really nice mid range hotel situated about 10 minutes from Roma Termini. Nice rooms that appear to have been recently refurbished. Comfy beds, good bathrooms, air conditioning and free wifi. Helpful features include self service laundry (about ten euros to wash and dry good sized load) and the vending machines dispensing everything from toothpaste to Moet. Approachable and helpful staff. Hidden gem is probably the breakfast buffet that pumps out a great breakfast at very reasonable cost.

Very nice stay in IQ hotel, Roma. I am not a person who writes reviews a lot, but this hotel has impressed me so much that I cannot stop writing a review. Thank you I Q hotel staff.
Excellent excellent location with all amenities, restaurants, train station at 5-10 minutes walking distance. Many major landmarks are also at walking distance. We had booked two rooms and both rooms were clean with all amenities provided. The rooms had 2 extra water bottles and some free snacks for guests. Staff was very friendly and respectful. I used their washer/dryer for laundry and one of the staff came with me to show how it works. One of the great things that I liked was that they had a water station where you can fill you water bottles with still water or sparkling water (you can save some money buying bottled water from stores). They have fantastic breakfast for their guests. I have stayed in other hotels in Italy but the breakfast at the IQ hotel was the best with good quality, huge range of food and drink options. Keep up the fantastic work.

Yes it is, we didn't catch it because all the things we wanted to see were within walking distance from the IQ hotel but the hop on hop off stop is only about 5 minutes away
We had to be at the Vatican entrance by 7:30 and we were at the door to breakdasf a few before 7 and grabbed a few things and hopped in a cab. It went fine for us. Enjoy your trip!
We used our cellphones. We just walked over to the train station, purchased the tickets to the station near the hotel. Again, we used google maps for the nearest station. You can also call the hotel to find out. The train is nice and clean. Hotel is walking distance, 10 min walk. You can go to the train station website to find out the ticket price. It was probably half the price we would have paid for hotel transportation for 3 of us. I hope this helps.
Hello, just leave a note on your reservation and we will assign a room with two beds. In alternative, just send us an email and we will take care of it.
Kind regards.

Dear Fay P,
Sorry to read this, it is not our standard not to answer to emails in a quick and efficient manner. Most probably there is some kind of technical fault somewhere. Please check our email address and try again to write to us.
Regarding your question, it is not clear what you are referring to. If it is restaurants, there are quite few in the area that we can suggest to you, same for shops or places to visit. If we cannot manage to communicate through emails, the staff at our Welcome Desk will be able to give you all the requested information at check in.
We look forward to welcoming you here next week.
Kind regards.
