Flowerome is an absolute gem in an unassuming street near Termini station. We were met by Andrea who was only too kind to help us figure out which attractions we wished to visit and how to use the Roman transport system. He was very helpful! The room itself was not very large but it was very clean and modern. We...

If you want to be able to shower whilst staying in Rome- don't book this hotel. For 5 days we could not have a proper shower. We told Andrea (male hotel owner) on the first morning of our stay that our shower doesn't work and he said that this is an issue with the building and it has been addressed....

Stayed1 night before 07:26 train to Siracusa, Sicily, so location was excellent. Lovely room, quiet. But: big problem: no-one to meet us at appointed time. Couldn't reach anyone by text or phone. Helpful waiter from next door rescued us by phoning succesfully, and Vicenzo eventually arrived. Andrea was on holiday. Very stressful start to our stay. Small problem: only 1...

Very well placed B&B in terms of transports and accessibility (crossing metro lines, bus station, tram station nearby, and train to come and go from Fiumicino airport). The staff is very cool and serious. The rooms are cosy, clean and tidy, very nice for couples.

Andre is a very friendly and exception host. He will see to it that your stay in Rome will be a fantastic experience. The Flowerome is about 5 minutes from Roma Termini. The room is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There are a lot of restaurants around the area. It is worth every money spent here. You will regret not...

Hotel FloweRome is actually three rooms within an apartment on the second floor of a commercial building a very short walk from the Termini. Our room and bathroom were modestly furnished but we had everthing we needed including a fridge, kettle and packaged items for breakfast. The rate was good and the place was clean. Although we faced a busy...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
