We have just returned home from Italy and spent our last week at Aurelia Vatican apts.We had a great stay and will go back for sure,Sam and Kate were just lovely and very helpful, they arranged a pizza making class for us with Walks of Italy and it was fantastic. We used the apt as a base and went out everyday but...

Entirely satisfying experience. Kate and Sam were very helpful. The only small hitch is that the place is difficult to find. We were expecting a tour guide to meet us at our apartment. Although he was a local and got to the nearest station - Valle aurelia, he couldn't get a clue as to where the apartment was located actually....

I stayed at Aurelia Vatican in March with 3 other friends. I would recommend this to anyone but especially to those with a larger number of people. The location, away from the hustle and bustle and the tourist sights but close enough to most places, was a plus for us but could be a small minus for people who are...

My husband, myself and our 11 year old son stayed at the Aurelia Vatican Apartments for ten days. It was well worth it and we will definitely stay there when in Rome again. The location is perfect because it's nice and quiet, the one bedroom was very spacious fully equipped with a kitchen and utensils for cooking, etc and most...

Prior to our arrival we were delighted to receive offers of help with organising airport to hotel transfer and booking of trips, etc as some of our other hotels had done. We took up the offer of the transfer for our very first view of Italy. The car was over an hour late which meant that after our very long...

This was our first time to Italy and we could not have picked a better place to stay! The accommodation was newly renovated and both super clean and spacious. My family (5 of us) stayed in the apartment from April 8-14, 2012 and loved every moment. The staff and owners, Kate and Sam, made us feel like 'old friends' and...

I recently had the challenge to identify a well-priced, well-located, clean, spiffy, modern hotel to accommodate a group of 25 students and teachers from Washington, DC interested to stay in Rome for a week. I stumbled onto Aurelia Vatican Apartments ... and from the first moment I was thrilled! Sam & Kate not only offered my group a beautiful, safe...

We've stayed at quite a few 4-star hotels in our 40 years of marriage -- and this place wins, hands down! My wife and I resided at the Aurelia Vatican Apartments (AVA) March 3-12, 2012, and we were were extremely pleased with our accommodations. (For current comparison, we stayed at very nice 4-stars in Paris and Milan on this trip,...

We stayed in a comfortable studio flat. The friendly and helpful staff give you an orientation session to explain how to get the most of Rome and also to push their tours a bit which is legitimate in my eyes. There was no big pot for Pasta but otherwise Kitchen was fine. You hear a bit of noise from other...

The owners and staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make our stay great. The apartrment was spacious and clean. We saved a lot of money by going to the nearby grocery and preparing some of our own meals. We felt safe walking to the Metro even late at night. There is also a local restaurant that was...
