Nice, clean, modern, comfortable hotel in Rome down town, no more than 2 minutes from Roma Termini central station and metro stations. The area is not so great but the hotel is really very good, with good service, nice breakfast and restaurant. We suggest you one of the cozy rooms on the sixth floor, (the ones with a private balcony),...

This hotel is really good value. The rooms are nice and big by Italian standards and quite luxuriously furnished. The free breakfasts are also great with quite a wide range of food available. On the downside I would say that the bathroom (which is equally big and luxurious) is let down by a shower that consisted of two shower curtains...

Just over the road from the central Termini station with Metro station, trams and bus station in the immediate area this is a handy location from which to explore Rome. Our room was large and very comfortable, the only slight downside was a tiny shower with large rainfall shower head in one corner of the large bathroom which wasn't very...

When we visit a city like Rome, I get a hotel close to the train station so it's very easy access when we have our luggage with us at arrival and departure. No need to take an expensive cab, or struggle with luggage on a bus or subway. Also, train stations have good subway connections, so it's easy to get...

We picked this hotel for our last night in Italy. It was easy access to the Rome Termini train station, about a one block walk, to catch the train to the ACO airport in Rome. The hotel is neat and clean and the service was excellent. It is in a very multi-diverse location with lots of different ethnic restaurants. There...

This hotel is so convenient to the train and the staff is so great and friendly. The room was decent and modern, the bathroom was beautiful. It wasn't super close to the Colosseum but not super far besides who minds hiking through Roma? The complimentary breakfast was delicious with fresh meats and cheeses. Great stay!

Large, airy rooms and a great location, with easy access to everything. Reliable air conditioning, which is a must in the summer in Rome; however, if left on too long, a pervading mustiness becomes apparent in the air. The same phenomenon is observable in the bathrooms at times. Nevertheless, staying at UNA was a decent experience. The staff was quite...

Excellent hotel in a central location. Right near the main train station and underground line. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and very well furnished. Breakfast buffet offers a very wide selection (by European standards).

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
