This was a very good value for the Termini area. A quality hotel, nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were lovely, tho I do agree getting into the shower/tub is quite an event. It is not for the elderly or the physically challenged. Breakfast was nice, the bar was lively but intimate, and in nicer weather I'm sure...

Booked this hotel for a weekend break in Rome with a friend. Great location right by the central train station and in walking distance of a lot of the big Piazza's and Basilica's. Plus many of the tour buses stop close by. Also many great places to eat all around the area. The hotel is immaculately clean and in good...

The hotel is so close to Rome termini, good transportation to Fiumicino and excellent access to Termini metro station (the only intersection of Rome M1 and M2 metro lines). You have to stop at the 3rd metro station in the line A to Battistini (which is Spagna station ) to visit Fontana di Trevi (and walking through via Minghetti from Trevi,...

We were arranging an important business function here and, to be certain had previously "recced" several hotels in the area - particularly focusing on their ability to handle a large meeting for overseas guests and general facilities. We were not let down at all. The location is excellent in being near tourist attractions and the rail terminus, with many good...

We stayed 3 nights precruise and 3 nights post cruise. Both rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A good selection for Breakfast. We did find it slippery getting out of the shower. The bath is deep. We walked to the Colosseum, The Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps, etc. The location is great, and within 200...

Modern and cool hotel, lovely spacious bedroom. Friendly receptionist staff. 30 euro parking charge a bit steep. Near Termini which is a big plus. Not far from the Coleseum and Palatine hill. (10 minute walk) .Good breakfast selection. Very peaceful nights sleep, room on 5th floor very quiet. The immediate area around the hotel is a bit seedy in places,...

Had one night stay in October while transiting through Rome. Close to train station which was our preference. This area is not the best part of town but selected it for convenience factor, ease of short walk from the station and pricing. Second visit to Rome and have stayed in same area at a different hotel. Prefer Una Hotel as...

We read some reviews since we were looking for a good hotel near the railway station, so we decided to try this hotel. It was great, the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel is within walking distance from Termini railway station.

This hotel was just what we wanted, within walking distance from the main railway station. It was clean, bright and modern. The bathroom was large and had a good shower and bath. The room was not very big but plenty big enough for two people. We were lucky and didn't hear any noise at all at night. The bed was comfortable....

Although the rooms were small, we were very satisfied with the Una Hotel. The room was clean and well decorated. It is not located in the heart of Rome but close to hop on hop off locations and the train station, Sleeping was good as no sounds were heard once you shut your door. The rooms were cleaned daily. Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
